I did vote yes but my other theory is what if Mariah started to fall in love with the baby and has decided to keep it. Maybe she will have him hide him and fake a miscarriage and run off to raise him with Tessa after she’s convinced everyone the baby died.
And Abby will fight for her baby, just like what Sharon did for Cassie. Hmm. Good theory.
I don’t think that Stitch is the kidnapper. I believe that it has something do with Chance’s case and Chance will get killed off screen rescuing her and the baby. Leaving room for Abby and Stitch to reconnect and get married again.
I vote yes, only because I’m at a loss… and can’t think of any plausible reason she hasn’t legitimately contacted anyone. I could buy the sudden “Me Time” if she had directly (Face-to-face? Real-time phone convo?) told all that was what she needed and was doing. The mysterious communications are completely out of character, and I’m too disinterested to consider other explanations…
I think Mariah was kidnapped, but not by Stitch. I think he is a red herring to throw us off. It’s creepy he is looking in the windows. I think the kidnapper may want ransom for a Chancellor/Newman infant.
I now think Mariah was kidnapped by Ian Ward, the Path cult leader. He wanted Mariah for his bride to create more cult followers. Last we knew, he was prison.
I voted not kidnapped. I don’t think the writers have decided what has actually happened to Mariah yet and left it opened ended right now to decide at a later time. The writers haven’t even decided how to handle Chance yet! I do think Stitch is a bad apple by being involved in Chance’s case, but not by kidnapping Mariah.
I agree with Ali, I think the writers are stringing us along. I just wish this story would wrap up soon. It is getting old watching everybody worry and doing nothing about it!
I think Stitch kidnapped Mariah. He is staying in town, May even work at the hospital again. I do think he will try to steal the baby, Max might be mentally ill because it was pre disposed. Stitch may be just as ill.
Oh, man. I just realized: Y&R sent Nina on assignment for ChanceComm to make room for Stitch. Otherwise, Nina would be ALL OVER THIS and all over HIM.
I think Stitch took Mariah and holding her hostage. Stitch has been acting very strange since he arrived back in Genoa City. Is he really back to be a doctor or has he been keeping tabs on Abby?
I agree. It is just to simple and leading that she was kidnapped.
Actually Mariah being kidnapped would be a strong enough plot point for Chance to return.
And according to Christine his assignment is just in Michigan. Not that far from Wisconsin.
