Honestly, I feel
Like Phyliss as of late has no real
Storyline. She’s picking at old scraps and grudges, falling for old loves and it’s just dull to watch. She overacts most of her scene partners. I want her to have a better story than do I still love Jack and meddling in other people’s business.

All Phyllis, all the time! as far as I’m concerned. I enjoy every episode she’s in – can’t be too many for me. Even when her character is (often!) grating, overblown, obnoxious, and/or weirdly out-of-place? I just loooove watching M.Stafford “do her thing.” I hated when she left, and was thrilled when she returned. I think her Phyllis is one of very few characters who can never successfully be recast: M.Stafford simply is Phyllis, effortlessly exuding Red’s trademark clever slink and sauciness into every emotion like no one else can. Idk, I don’t really believe the actress needs to wield… Read more »

I like Phyllis, she seems to be caught up in a crossroad.
I was married to a Nick once. It was a relief to finally get away and find a new life. Phyllis will persevere and pull it together. #TeamPhyllis

I used to be a big Phyllis fan but the character has been tough to endure since Michelle’s return. They are writing her as an immature, obnoxious, self-centered whiner. The “my daughter, my daughter” storyline was particularly grating—as if Summer were a kindergartner in need of her mommy. I wish we would see some real character growth coming out of Phyllis’ time with “Golden Glo”. Somehow I doubt that will happen. The writers seem to think loud, “me, me, me” Phyllis is somehow charming. For me, it’s a big turnoff and a huge step backward from Gina Tognoni’s version of… Read more »

I voted disapprove, because they are getting carried away with Phyllis’s constant whining and manipulations. I think Michelle is a great actress but give her something important to do and to say

If you like chewing the scenes to death actress, why not. I thought this episode brought nothing to the stories and underline how much Phyllis has no self awareness. She still thinks she’s right, poor soul.

Gloria was glorious, loving her!

Great at comedy. Great at drama. Michelle Stafford really knows her Phyllis and how to showcase her.

My girl Phyllis is overflowing with pure soapy goodness. She’s an intriguing multilayered character I love tuning in to see.

Normally, I am a Phyllis supporter but she is making a terrible mistake dumping Nick for Jack. She needs to realize that she and Jack are practically orbiting two different celestial bodies at this point in their lives. This isn’t that old Jack who snacked Jill away from John, this is new, fuddy-duddy Jack who wants Phyllis to fetch his slippers and draw him a warm bath before retiring to an early bed. Don’t expect fireworks from this Jack Phyllis and, lets face it, Jack only wants Phyllis because he is lonesome and he has trapped himself into a co-dependant… Read more »

Imagine Phyllis satisfied drawing Jack’s bath and tending his slippers.

Watching Michelle Stafford this week reminded me of her tv show made for YouTube years ago called The Stafford Project. She’s amazing at comedy! The episodes are still on YouTube and there’s some YR costars!

I watched all of them. I can tell you this much Ms. Stafford does a really good job of exploiting the widely perceived pomposity and egomania of daytime drama stars to maximum effect.
