I gave the character of Ray three stars. Rey first came to Genoa City a man of mystery. We didn’t know quite when he was there. Soon other Rosales family members followed. They brought along some great plots to keep us interested. After they left one by one, Rey became the “police”, support for Faith, and there to prop up Sharon, sometimes as her conscious. Rey went from having a complicated past, to being just a nice guy. Y & R could’ve chosen to write this character with more depth, but they decided not to go there. I hope Jordy… Read more »

The actor Jordi does a good job with this character. My vote of 3 stars is for the character. He could have been more, but not given the opportunity. The show doesn’t have arrestible bad guys anymore., so Ray didn’t have much to do. He would have been great as a detective, solving thefts, murders, or mysteries. Just being dreamy with Sharon wasn’t much of a story. So a generous 3 for character of Ray.

Four Stars for me! Rey was not a full five stars for me as he was not one of my top characters on the show, my five stars are reserved for the Michael Baldwins of Genoa City; however, I did quite enjoy Rey as a character. My highlights of Rey was when the whole Rosales family came to town and we saw him falling for Sharon while still with Mia, Rey during Sharon’s cancer storyline, and even the conflict that came from Rey vs. Adam. He was one of those good wholesome characters. But I will always remember how on… Read more »
Tricole, I wish we could get you as one of the memorial speakers – the congregation would love Rey as best dressed! Unfortunately, not all of us have the whereforall to just drop everything to fly to Miami for the day.

I thought Rey was great and Sharon deserved him a first, but later I felt she fell out of being in love with Rey, this she stated herself about her feelings for him in regarding to her feelings for Adam.
So, I gave him 4 Stars, we all need room to grow.

Rey got 4 from me. The writers could have done better for him. I can’t see why Rey would be a haunting character to return from the dead. But you never know what ploy could be played. So fair-the-well Rey…until next time.

I gave Rey 4 stars. He wasn’t perfect but was good for Sharon and the kids. Too bad he never had one of his own. Sorry to see you go Rey and so unceremoniously at that.

5 stars ***** and I am proud to be your 1st pollster. I never read CBS Soaps in Depth online, Whatever Happened To… feature. A benign recatation of someones plot line(s) seems so tedious as I lived it in the flesh, but I condesended to read every word of Whatever Happened To Rey On Y&R and I must say they did a great job of not missing a single point. I will leave it to others to say they thought Jordi was a great actor but Rey, boring. Too bad the great Zoperxplex is not here to take another pot… Read more »
