I voted that it was too dark, but it wasn’t that Natalia was murdered and Scott was framed for it. It was just the massive amount of blood that was shown. I feel like usually when a character is murdered on daytime they get bonked over the head or pushed over a cliff and you just see their lifeless body laying there, sans copious amounts of blood. Maybe the writers really just wanted to drive the point home that Natalia was brutally murdered, but they could have just shown a bloody knife. I didn’t need to see a bed sheet… Read more »

I honestly thought it was a little over the top but maybe that’s what the writers was going for not sure I really didn’t like the scene leading up to Scott in the bed but maybe after November sweeps it will come down I think that they are going toward shock and they are on the right tract

I voted not too dark. However, visually I wouldn’t what it to get any darker or more gruesome than that. For a brief shot of the situation of Natalia dead and lying next to Scott I think it was fine. I believe Y&R has done dark storylines in the past but I would like this one to be cleaned up soon. My worry when I saw that scene of Scott waking up to Natalia dead is if this turns into a murder investigation story and gets even more dragged out.

I voted it was fine, not too dark for daytime. I felt excited, and intrigued when the scene opened with Scott and the murdered Natalia next to him. It just seemed deeper into the plot, rather than the pretty boy, tech geek, slimy Zach playing at bad boy. This was real and showed how desperate and depraved Zach is.

The darker scenes give the Actors a chance to shine/ makes me appreciate the lighter scenes more.

There used to be a lot more dark stories. Phyllis ran her car over two people. Michael stalked Christine. Paul forced himself on Christine. Sharon killed a guy, and she and Nicki carried him into a tunnel, I think, to cover it up. Victor held someone in a cage for months. Paul and Michael kept Sheila in a basement. Kevin stalked Colleen and Samantha, locked them in and set a fire. There were murders and trials. There was a guy named David that was a sex offender, I think. Christine and Nina bribed a doctor to carve his forehead with… Read more »

I said yes but not just Daytime. I don’t think it was needed in any good crime/mystery story. Usually the actors and writing is powerful enough to scare the audience more than any blood splatter. I really enjoy mysteries. They are my favorite genre. Psycho still holds up 50 years later. Sometimes your mind can scare up images more vivid than anything on screen. On the other hand, the villains and leads are so weak in this sex traffic story, that can understand why they made this choice to make it memorable. However hopefully in a few days we will… Read more »
