I voted somewhere in between. I really enjoyed seeing Phyllis and Sharon be friendly with each other and prefer that way over the constant bickering. I do not need Phyllis and Sharon to be best friends but I want to see them be casual friends with the comedic jabs at each other in a playful way.

Friends, definitely friends! The two now have the shared experiences of the nut hut escapade. These two women share intimate knowledge of each other. They’ve slept with all the same men. They have slept intertwined on an old grubby couch. The difficulty they shared should have gradually drawn them together. They’ve revealed themselves as vulnerable and encouraged each other to be strong and not give up. Great basis for a friendship based on accepting limitations and failures and in addition – shared intimate knowledge of half the men in GC. I would have loved them comparing notes and sharing a… Read more »

In-between… and more inclined to ‘enemies,’ as some things just will never change… even while each has begrudgingly found some respect for the other and could actually put differences aside s/a ‘dire’ need rise again. But neither really likes the other. Neither Phyllis nor Sharon will ever truly let go of the (real or perceived) hurts the other has inflicted upon her. Maybe they’ll make nice as ‘frenemies’… for a while.

Friends won’t work with these two. Enemies, fighting over the same guy works way better. Nick and Sharon is forced script writing. Nick and Phyllis were and could be so good. Okay, they are forcing Sharon and Nick together. Then, we can start the stolen glances, secret meetings, and an affair with Nick and Phyllis, a really good, secret, love triangle. I know, again, but it’s good soap.

At the rescue, I wanted to see both women running to Nick, and any bond they shared during captivity would have gone away right then.
For the captor, I was hoping it was Claire, proving to Grandpa she could kidnap too, and even two at a time.

I voted friends. The enemies shtick has gone on years too long. Sharon has a major company, and Phyllis has great IT skills. Even though I root for Billy to unexpectedly succeed, Phyllis can do so much more than just adorn his arm. And maybe we could find out what Cassidy First! does other than not monitoring it’s parking lot. Instead we seem to be getting ready to ignore the rapprochement as their story lines go separate ways only tangentially intersecting. I hoped that they, who have so much on common and some great chemistry could become a dynamic powerhouse… Read more »

Ali, you asked us about our favorite James Bonds. My favorites, hands down, are Sean Connery and Daniel Craig in that order! Connery, mostly because he is the total package: rugged good looks, great build, great hair and fantastic voice and accent! Craig because he also has rugged good looks and great voice. And also Timothy Dalton. Many forget him; but he has a great voice and accent!

I say Pierce Brosnan, mostly suave and debonair but with a temper just barely under control. In “The World Is Not Enough”, he shoots Elektra between the eyes after being taunted: “I never miss”. And able to deliver the comedic line “family motto” when another villain suggests that for Bond, “the world is not enough”. “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”‘s visit to the Royal College of Arms disclosed that the Bond family motto is indeed “the world is not enough (Orbis non sufficit)”. But isn’t a better question who is the best Bond girl? Today I’ll vote for Christmas Jones… Read more »

Im hoping for somewhere in between. Them getting along will freak everyone out but hopefully they will still have some tension too. I bet a friendship would be short lived and something will turn them against each other again.

Sharon and Phyllis are best as frenemies. Somewhere in between friends and enemies is perfect for them, they will never be true friends because of their history with Nick and Heather’s death etc.
