There is something about the portrait above the fireplace. A gift from Dina to John. 1956…….About the time when Jack and Ashley were conceived or born. A note attached……A reframing ….Who is she? I predict a mystery. I pray for a better story than the Emerald of Love or the Katherine bequeathed music box. But there is a mystery just the same……Diane is involved so maybe there will be some new embroidered pillows somewhere within the Abbott house?

There was quite a dilemma at the Abbott Mansion over the weekend! Everyone was in a panic. They were frantically searching for an item belonging to Harrison. After searching the entire “Mansion” they finally found it! It was Harrison’s “Circus Tent Playset”. You would never guess where they found it. Lying in the center of Jack’s new sofa! It was a perfect match! LOL

This is what I see. I do see the bar. If you look at the lower edge of this picture, you see a crystal top of a decanter. The furniture is arranged the same, just different furniture. The sofa color, according to Crayon is “purple pizzazz.” I WEAR pink every day, but don’t prefer it as home decor. My first pop-in thought was that it looks too dark, too cluttery, too much like early 1900s cigar lounge. I still think it would have been amusing if it had been done just like the ranch. Time for a new wife.

“early 1900s cigar longe,” lol – pretty much! Still giving off ‘dusty museum’ vibes, albeit in brighter colors.

Fan gossip…I saw a post that had multiple photos and angle shots of each room of the new mansion set. The fans commented the most about hating the drapes in the dining room. They definitely noticed the “pink” couch (sorry Ali, no red referrals) and the sofa views were mixed with dislike in the lead. The foyer was definitely a fan favorite and got the most praise. The least favorite was the dining room. The overall sentiment was was very positive and the one criticism was it still felt dated. I definitely will be checking out those photos again.

I like the Abbott refresh. The changes are subtle, looks similar to original. I thought Diane did a good job
