Poll: The Grand Phoenix: Hot hotel or House of flop?

Admittedly, I’m a little late with my contribution, but I’m going to call it a flop house! It’s trendy fine, but we already have Society, and the upper aqua room of the Authletic Club from late August through September – maybe, so what’s the point? The Athletic Club may be stodgy, bordering on the old folks home, but it is also timeless, elegant. Even if you don’t like the dreary “brown” establishment, I see it as one of the best soap sets ever built for it’s seeming sweeping grandness and old world service.
