I do not like Tara at all. I don’t know if it’s the actress or her in general but I feel no sparks at all with her and Kyle. I find it hard to believe that they have or had any chemistry. Tara is boring to me. Once again, I do not know if it’s the character or the actress. I think they could make it more exciting with some changes but as it stands now I and not feeling it. Looks wise she reminds me of Brittany but I love Brit and would rather see her come back and… Read more »

I’m neutral when it comes to Tara. I don’t hate her but she has done nothing for me as a character. I feel like she’s just a prop to usher in Ashland to hopefully have a more permanent stay in GC and to give Kyle and Summer the obstacle of having his kid to raise. I think once she’s done serving that purpose she will probably be killed in the crossfire of some dangerous situation with Ashland vs Kyle and the Abbotts or the Newmans.

I like Tara. She has that “look.” She comes across as being very mature and quite sexy. I can easily see how Kyle could be drawn to her—–not the “little girl” that Summer, albeit very sexy as well, portrays,

I voted “neutral” . So far she seems like she means well and trying do whats best for eveyone. But it’s too early to say . We don’t know much of her just yet . Who knows she she might be holding some BIG BIG secret in the her sleeve. We’ll see.
But I like her appearence .

The character of Tara has a classic Y&R look. She could be a contemporary of Victoria. A friend maybe? Did they meet in Europe? Have they met in GC yet? I don’t recall. The show has a lot of women right now, but I suggest we keep Tara.

The show has a lot of women right now. True. On topic of someone noticed Billy Miller in the area – I suggest he be cast as Dylan. He could vie for Victoria or Tara, compete with Kyle and Billy. Oh, I suppose Sharon would want to weigh in, especially as he might work with Ray at GCPD.

I voted Positive! I like the steely restraint Tara has brought so far. Despite our sassy Summer’s bluster, she just looked bratty and out of her league when confronting Tara. Tara is married to Ashland Locke after all! and may actually be the more formidable half of that power couple. I like the confidence the actress is bringing with those icy blue eyes (and I suspect she was the seductive Mrs. Robinson to young party boy Kyle!) Could she end up being the long-awaited, next great love for Jack Abbott? Oh, what a tangled web little Harrison would grow up… Read more »

I voted neutral because I find Tara boring. Summer has nothing to worry about with Kyle leaving her. Summer has much more personality and Tara lied to Kyle and to her husband . Ashland was probably too controlling and being young she wanted to have a little fun and found Kyle

I would like to comment about Tara’s looks first. I am glad you brought up about Tara’s eyes Ali. I was going to comment about that this week. I do not like her eyes as they look spooky. I am positive they are contacts to give Tara that look for whatever reason. I wish Y&R would not make her look so inhuman as you said Ali. She looks like a a zombie. As for her personality, I feel there isn’t a lot to say at the moment, as we don’t really know her character. We only know she is the… Read more »

I’m not a fan. She is a cheater who kept her son from his real father in order to keep her fancy lifestyle and social status. Now she wants us all to believe she’s some wounded bird trapped in a gilded cage. The decision to be unfaithful was all on miss Tara, sure, Kyle sexed up a married woman, which is skeevy and gross, but she is the married one, which is way worse and and way more skeevy.

You say not a fan, but your comments are a positive slant to what soaps are all about.

I love soaps, and the juicy drama they give us, but I really don’t like Tara. Maybe if she is written to be more interesting and devious I’ll love to hate her in the future. Right now, in my opinion, she’s a boring, stepford socialite who had an affair. Nothing new or un-soapy, I just don’t like the character.

Negative. But just for now. They’ll doll her up. A sour pickle adulteress. I’m totally turned off that she came to town proclaiming to Kyle that they must never meet or talk again and now she has all these issues with him. Dispite efforts to the contrary they brought Ashton Locke’s suspicions down upon themselves. Tara Locke, get a personality. She is a complete pill, “for now”, like I said…
Perhaps Tara sold her soul to marry Mr. Locke or maybe she didn’t. Lacks warmth, “for now”.

Zoperxplex, you have me questioning if I should feel sorry for the wife behind the man? I think Tara is too new and someone who has yet to explain herself to feel much emotion for her. Shoud Kyle follow what has become a signature style for him and run off with T Locke and little Franklin ( I mean Harrison) I can’t cry over it. Summer can always captivate another man and she has her tip top career (see Ellen) to fill the time. As Kyle Locke Kyle could get back a bit of the social status he lost in… Read more »

Hi, Ali. I just feel upon your own Tara Locke comment where you basically implied she has had a lobotomy with her soul taken out which is more to the point.
