I picked Williams family because I hadn’t seen those episodes except for the Isabella & bathtub one. I felt the producers picked good episodes. I was almost 50/50 with the choosing the Newmans. Cassie’s death, Abby’s paternity & Victor meeting his father are epic. The only one I had seen before was Cassie’s death which I didn’t remember all the details. For the other families I felt like better episodes could have been used & they weren’t the focus of that week even though they were supposed to be the theme.
I voted for the Baldwin-Fisher family because I felt Y & R gave us the best retrospective. We saw the dynamics between Michael and Kevin, Gloria’s love for John and her struggles to be accepted, and the closeness of Lauren and Michael’s relationship. I loved the episode where Michael is reunited with his father and Kevin married Jana. The Baldwin-Fishers always include drama and wackiness, the best combination.
I voted for the Newman family notably for Cassie”s death. Was truly emotional. I wonder if Camryn Grimes watched it. She did a fabulous job at a much younger age. Also when Victpr met his father, expertly played by George Kennedy. those were the two that stood out for me.
ALI, I’m watching THE WALTONS!
Dynasty of the hill country…
I voted for the Baldwin-Fisher family. Who knew Gloria was such a handful. She was like the Lucy Ricardo of Y&R; one harebrained scheme after another; except with her none of them ever arrive at a successful conclusion. She is the patron saint of lost causes. Poor Gloria, who can not but help feel sorry for her.
I voted for my favorite family, The Winters!
