I voted because permanent. Dina fills the need the show has for a strong, powerful matriarch character after the hole left by Katherine’s death. Jill could have taken up that role, but instead she chose to take off with her weird, scheming husband. I also love the fact that she has come back with a younger, hot boyfriend in tow; that makes her even more cool.

I agree with Gary and Rose. She should be permanent. Dina can fill the void left by Katherine being gone and can be a new revised rivalry for Jill!

I voted sure because she is an interesting character and of course I never watch her back then, am interested to see what she bring , but of course her kids should never forgive her and should give her a hard time

I chose short stay. Y&R has it own savvy business woman in Jill, they should be using her. Bill Bell developed her working from a young age until she became CEO of Chancellor, and at one time CEO of Jabot. But when MAB took over years ago she stopped writing for business Jill, so many viewers have never seen that side of her. She could be tough like Dina, and she was so successful at Jabot that Jack often sabotaged her. Now that Katherine’s gone, Y&R is without a matriarchal family. Jill has the house, the company, the extended family… Read more »

I put short visit since I want to see how it plays out. I have seen a pattern over the years of parents returning to the canvas and having death bed scenes including Phyllis/Avery – father, Tyler/Leslie – father, and Neil – mother. A short visit would allow Dina to spend a few months and return later. I would even rather the character return to Paris and revisit again later. It works for Gloria, Anita and Jill.
