Summer: “It’s true. I never liked your jokes anyway. Too infantile, and when are you ever going to get over my breasts? They’re big. Live with it!”
Jack: “Are they still making jokes about my purple tie? I thought I was making a statement about my solidarity with the LGBTQIA community.”
Mrs. Martinez: “A pox on both your houses! Leave the poor man alone. He is the only one who has ever paid any attention to me.”
Just don’t know where this Sally/Jack thing is going – if anywhere. The last few times Jack has seen Sally, I can’t figure out if his perplexed (et longing) expression says “Gee, I really want to ignore the red flags and just give us a go!” OR “Gee, I’ve lost interest, but you’re kinda the only option around these days.” Eh.
