Hi Ali, I am loving Devon and Mariah. Although I do kind of feel like Mariah is playing games just mess with Hilary. I’m dying to know how Jordan and Chelsea know each other. Was Chelsea a nude model/porn star? Did they scam and blackmail people together? I really need more on this relationship. I can sympathize with Cane’s bitterness over his position at Brash & Sassy. He thought, originally, that he was jumping on board an enterprise that offered the opportunity to demonstrate his managerial skills to Jill and by achieving this objective open the door for himself to higher positions at Chancellor Industries. Hi Ali I found out in Friday’s episode why I can’t stand Mariah as a Character. She loves to play the Victim card too much. She been rubbing it in Hilary’s face all week that is dating Devon but as soon as Hilary replies back with snarky comment they call her the mean one. Ok I have a few things to say: 1. Mariah and Devon just make me feel uncomfortable. They look awkward together. I always cringe when they try to be romantic together. 2. Why are Chelsea and Jordan trying to hide their past? They aren’t con artist anymore. It happened in the past. Besides, everyone in town knows she used to be a con artist. Okay I’ve been savioring this for a few weeks now, I HATE THE RELATIONSHIP OF BILLY AND PHYLLIS. I can’t stress enough about how I will not and can not support this. And my reasoning? I don’t think the Billy and Phyllis relationship will be smooth sailing. Can already tell from the start that Phyllis has plenty of insecurities. Their whole relationship was built on sneaking around. I feel Phyllis now realizes what “being out” with Billy implies, Victoria being forever tied to Billy in not just a work relationship but also in one of the strongest ways by sharing children. Not that Phyllis would ever deny Billy putting his kids first; but if the kids want Daddy, are sick and extra activities, Billy will be there with Victoria. I give major credit to the actress who plays Hillary in that final scene where she was overhearing Mariah and Devon “get it on”. I could feel all the emotions the character was feeling from just her facial expressions. I think Hilary was in denial of Devon ever even considering moving on with someone and in that scene you felt her shock, feeling gross and her pain. The actress did a great job of portraying how horrifying being placed in that situation would feel like.
I wonder what major past Chelsea and Jordan are hiding? Because if it is about Chelsea’s being a con artist, I don’t feel that is a huge thing to hide from everyone. They all know how Chelsea came to Genoa City and how she used to be a con artist, as well as know that she is not that type of person anymore. This secret past must be something juicy!!
Maybe part of the reason of making Bella Kevin’s daughter is that they may move to be closer to Chloe. Possibly in the months before Kevin leaves Chloe could be found and brought to a mental institution and then Kevin and Bella will go live near her.
It will be sad to see the character of Kevin leave. He brought comedic relief, was adorable and most of all I loved his brotherly bond with Michael; that is what I will miss the most.
I agree. I will miss the brotherly bond between Kevin and Michael. Greg Rikart is perfect as Kevin. This is a shock to me.
I just hope if Kevin leaves indefinitely that this is not the beginning of the end of the Fisher Baldwin family. I hope Michael, Lauren and Gloria will remain on the show regardless of Kevin’s status in Genoa City.
I just learned that the character of Kevin will be leaving the show in August. This appears to be legit. It will be interesting to see how the writers prepare “us” for is exit given that he has just learned that he is Bella’s biological father, etc….WOW!
I can’t believe Greg Rikaart is leaving! Kevin has always been my favorite character for the longest time, but there was always a part of me that felt that something was going to happen to him because everyone kept bringing up the fact of how Kevin had changes so much and how he’s become a much better person. I felt like they were emphasizing it so much I just felt like somthing bad was going to happen.
According to Soap Opera’s Digest, Greg Rikaart’s (Kevin) contract will not be renewed. His last episode will be in June. What impact will this have on Bella? Will we find out that Billy is the real father? Did Victor manipulate the paternity tests? If he did and Victoria finds out, will it somehow bring Billy and Victoria together? His departure will have a lasting effect on some current storylines.
I think a single father for the first time would have been an entertaining story for Kevin. I guess the powers that be thought otherwise. I wonder if this is a test the waters on their part to see what the social media/fan reaction is since it has been publicized earlier than other cast departures. According to most articles, Kevin will not be killed off and unlike Days of Our Lives, Y&R is filmed only a few weeks from airdate. So he could always come back sooner than we think.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Jack is officially off the wagon after what he has learned today. I guess Sandra was right.
