Hi Ali! It’s Nancy of “Nancy & Melissa”. That’s a new and improved Nancy who wrote that brilliant comment! I’m still a 4 decade long viewer but Melissa has moved on ☹️ Occasionally I update her but her schedule is too full at this time to watch our beloved “Story” And I never miss your Sunday Chats. Sending love and virtual hugs! And “New Nancy”: keep up the good work
If Stitch is the kidnapper, this is how it may go. He will “find” Mariah, and he will “help” her when she goes into labor. Stitch will tell everyone, he “found” Mariah and “saved” her. They will continue to investigate who kidnapped Mariah, and they will find out that Stitch is actually the kidnapper.
I know I should let it go, but I’m still feeling salty about the Tara storyline. We all heard Harrison ask about seeing his mother, right? Well, there is no way Harrison could just be sent out of the country to live with someone who has no parental rights. And now Tara can’t even have any visits with Harrison since she can’t leave the state of New York. And it’s rather ridiculous to suggest that supervised visitation would even be required. She is accused of a white collar financial crime. That’s hardly something that implies a danger to her child.… Read more »
Ali—how cool to be named after Ali MacGraw. I was just a little kid when Love Story came out, but I remember what a huge impact it had. The movie, the music and Ryan & Ali were absolutely everywhere. I finally saw the movie on TV years later—phew, so sad, but beautiful.
I remember when “Love Story” debuted and it was quite a sensation. I wonder, however, if Ali’s mother realized that the Ali of Ali MacGraw was actually short for Alice and not Alison?
Yes! That’s right. Ali is her stage name. And that’s my full name. Just ‘Ali’.
Ali McGraw is so fascinatingly beautiful, and my mom really, really did look like her in the 70’s… but, the twist is: I didn’t end up looking like my mom. I take after my Dad. I always thought she looked like Mask/Moonstruck-era Cher in the 80’s, though.
Ali, you may think you are crazy, but you are my Sunday Afternoon of joy and laughter.
Mine too! Such a bright spot in the week. Ali really is gifted at wrapping up the week in Genoa City—the highs, the lows and definitely the funny moments. Ali is a natural mood lifter!
Thank you for saying so! That feels good to hear. Imagining Nate with a pirate hook for a hand was my favorite part of the day.
There is one lesson I learned about last week’s episodes and that is that Chloe deserves no mercy from the criminal justice system. Michael gave her a chance and what did she do with it? Nothing less than going back to her old, venomous, psychopathic ways.
