I am still waiting for a shocking turn in the Devon/Elena/Nate/Amanda saga type of a storyline. Amanda being Hilary’s twin is okay but I expected more. I am curious as to what the writers have planned for the quad.

Hey Ali, that poncho is gorgeous. I love the golden coloring, it goes well with your hair and skin tone.

I could see her wearing that blonde mink stole over to Katherine Chancellor’s house. Or, given modern culture, the supermarket. There are no rules.
It did look good on her.

Hello everyone! Sorry I will go back to the last week just yet (since i am a little bit behind) . It just hit me (while watching) after all the lockdown and stuff .And yeah it is just a notice but i realized how not so long ago Lola and Kyle was like the dream couple , so in love and such. And somehow still can’t get used to it they’re not anymore heh. It’s just happened so fast even although wer hadn;t got new episodes fro a half of a year. Another thing is I loved the Phyllis treat… Read more »

Yes the Lola/Kyle breakup did come out of the blue, but I do like Lola better with Theo

If the news about Sharon’s cancer is negative, imagine if Sharon’s doctor called her with the results hours before the letter came. Sharon, racked with guilt replaying her family’s warnings in her head, runs to the one person who thought she could handle it all…Adam.

I read Sharon does get a negative report from her doctor and has quite a fight ahead of her.. Everyone comes to her support probably including Adam

Regarding the social distancing on set—if they violate the regulations wouldn’t they be in danger of being shut down? I agree that it is noticeable in some scenes and not so much in others, but there must be some tricks involved we don’t know about. I doubt the show would openly violate state or county regulations and then televise it. I’ve seen numerous articles about TV shows being cancelled because of increased production costs due to COVID regs. Let’s hope YR ratings are high enough to keep the show going strong in spite of these new costs. Maybe that’s why… Read more »

Great points. There are social distancing/Corona professionals policing the set, and even if the actors don’t feel personally threatened, the show itself needs to serve as a role model for the country. Its confusing with all these different high powered organizations making different decisions on the subject but as far as television/entertainment goes there seem to be strict regulations not to be violated.

I read that there are camera angles used to make the actors look closer than they are.. They are not showing sex scenes unless the actors are together in real life and that’s ok as long as the story continues and stays interesting

Most all of your statement is true, except for Y&R Ratings, they have lost over 1 million viewers, since they have returned from hiatus. People were expecting better storylines and the writers have failed them.
I don’t get it, Y&R was renewed through 2023, so why not bill on plots and stories, instead it start and stop stories before anything of substance happens.
I am sure at this rate they will survive until 2023.

How does pushing an dangerous man who is threatening you and your blind mother when you are 11 years old mark you as a bad person for life??? Again we have Adam saddled with an accidental death and I’m supposed to think his actions were nefarious and he’s inherently evil? If Adam’s life took a wrong turn after this incident, blame his parents. Parenting 101 is that you don’t ignore traumatic amnesia! Isn’t that in all the parenting magazines? Of course Adam should have had therapy if that push resulted in AJ’s death. An 11 year old isn’t going to… Read more »

You’re forcing to mention my 6 brothers again. If AJ Montalvo confronted my 5’2” mother like that, any one of them (AND probably even me) would have pushed him down and more at age 11. We ain’t evil. Rebuttal, Gary my friend?

I’m smirking because you are on the Adam soapbox again making me smile, but you are 100%. My current beef with Adam is he is too self indulgent to recognize the truth of your words himself. Of course when it is YOU in a situation such as this, if you are a decent human being, there is going to be self doubt, but he should be able to work through this without spending the rest of his life in a motel room waiting for Sharon. There really is no crime, and well meaning Hope and Victor perhaps made the wrong… Read more »

Ali was kidding. Adam pushed him and he fell and hit his head and Victor and Hope made it look like he fell out of the hayloft in the barn to protect Adam. I would think after Adam killed Delia with his car some of those early memories should have come back.

I find it terrible that Adam is having to deal with this now as an adult. Next will be Conner’s behavior showing the same bad genes. An evil person. Adam isn’t evil, His emotional needs were ignored as a child.

Let’s hope they don’t drag this “I am evil, I have always been evil” thing out too long. Maybe Chance can bring some sanity to this story & Adam’s perspective. I don’t want evil Adam, like Ali suggested. I enjoy all the nuances of the Adam story. After all, he’s half Saint Hope and half Ruthless Victor. He is all the shades of grey.

Adam does adore his mother so there must be a little of her in him…

When a character like Adam says, “I am evil” I feel manipulated. Am I supposed to feel sorry for him? Go all warm & fuzzy thinking, ‘Aw, he feels bad, He has quite a conscience. He is actually a very good person.’ I already figured that out for myself with my incredibile ability to process subtlety! HA! With Adam doing the “I am evil” walk of shame I realize this is a case of not so much what I illustrated above over a plot purpose – named Sharon.
