All time favorite Y & R couples? Michael Muhney’s Adam and Sharon. One and done. The rest can mix and match as the writers wish!

Oh yeah! Jake! I liked him with Marley. Jake was kind of the bad boy and Marley was so good. And Vicky was kind of the bad girl while Ryan was such a good guy. All four of them were great. I loved that show.

Ali, lets just say Backgammon is where it’s at. And if you like UNO, you will enjoy UNO Flip. It’s two double sided decks, that you turn upside down with a “flip” card, including the hand your holding. A little confusing but hilarious to play. And I too, rarely lose at UNO.
PS, the pics of your Christmas treats look wonderful. I have a very good cinnamon roll recipe that I use often, but I’m gonna give the overnight cinnamon rolls a try.

Theo is an Abbott. The name “Abbott” is just a placeholder for the family. No one comes into this world without a mother. None of the current Abbott children or grandchildren would be here without Dina. So Theo is just as much an Abbott as anyone else is. Just because women’s names get erased, their DNA doesn’t.

Just wanted to send you a note of encouragement re your potty training adventures! Sounds like you are doing a great job as you certainly know your daughter best, you have sought out good advice and most importantly–you have a sense of humor about the situation. Your daughter will be proud of this new skill once she knows she truly can do it. Wishing you both well!!!

Actually Ali, I hate to correct you but, when Dina had that moment when she was looking at the Christmas tree ornament and Jack had to remind her that he had made it as a child whereupon Dina stated that she may have lost her memory but she will never forget her love of Jack, that was a flashback to 2017. In the Christmas of 2018, immediately after Jack had his flashback, Dina looked at him and asked who he was. It was a melancholic moment underscoring just how far Dina’s Alzheimer’s had progressed.

Yes, not sure, but I thought Dina was out of it by 2018 and the Christmas ornament gazing must have been the year before. So Zoperxplex, that brand new JACK felt ornament didn’t look any 50 years old to me, but brand new! And I couldn’t possibly know, but I have a feeling that wasn’t the same JACK Christmas ball we were looking at 2017. Calling the prop department for clarification.

That moment was both poignant and tragic at the same time. I got the impression it was probably written by Mal Young because, since Mr. Young is known to have first hand experience with Alzheimer’s through his mother, only someone who has seen the devastating effect of Alzheimer’s on a loved one could have written something as penetrating as that scene.
