I think Noah is far more likely to be bi-polar than psycho, although he is way too even tempered, which is more psycho, not seeing manic episodes.
My three year old grandson wore my turning 28 years old in two weeks son’s, his uncle’s, Winnie The Pooh costume this year! Yes, I kept it and it was in excellent condition. I have several special outfits that I kept, another was a sweatsuit of my daughter’s from my college, the University of North Dakota, which retired their Fighting Sioux nickname in 2010, which was pending for years, so I saved one of my daughter’s and one of my son’s. I pulled my daughter’s out when my grandson was born, and the elastic was crumbled, so I took it… Read more »
I’m gonna try to let this go—I really will. It will be my holiday gift to the Chatters. But after watching Lily waste her time with Billy last week, I must protest one last time. It’s called a “corporate ladder” for a reason. Normally a person gets an entry level job, does well, gets promoted, becomes a supervisor, gradually takes over new areas of responsibility, enters upper management, maybe eventually becomes a VP, serves on various corporate boards, etc, etc—then very very few become COOs or CEOs or similar. It happens so much, Devon is suddenly a wise business man, Mariah was given jobs she had no qualifications for by Devon and Jabot, and Summer…just Summer, and Jill, and even Kyle, although that is somewhat understandable, he went to college and it is his family business. Really Jack, Ashley, Neil, Victor, Adam and Victoria are the only ones I can think of who were realistically qualified for their jobs.
Yeah, they just haven’t shown people at the corporate headquarters in years. We always saw the younger Abbotts and Newmans (and Neil) working under John and Victor, learning the ropes, making mistakes, having triumphs, collaborating with different people, Ashley in her lab, lawyers popping in and out, board meetings. It made their rise to the top believable. This latest generation being handed these jobs seems silly and reckless. But it’s a soap and they can’t go back and lay the groundwork for it all. I’m letting it go (not really LOL).
Ideally, what you laid out is how things should work … and many times do. But there are plenty of companies/corporations where nepotism, favoritism, and -legal or not- “favors” come into play. Sad, but true, and a slap in the face to those w/integrity and qualifications who may find such inequities as they navigate their careers.
