I agree with Cheyenne. Hillary is going to be pregnant and no one will believe it’s Devon’s baby. I’m sad about their break up. You could tell that they really still love one another. I believe Hilary has changed and would never go so far with her manipulation of Devon’s love again. They need to stop having Devon’s whole family in their marriage. I hope the pregnancy bring them back together. I love the idea of Jack and Gloria going public. Although I can also see Gloria with Colin as they scheme up ways to get rich together. I can… Read more »
***I hope You Read*** Hello Ali I hope you don’t me if I vent and rant today because I have a lot of frustrations from this week & only one compliment. * My only compliment is Hilary (Mishael Morgan) looked so Gorgeous in that short purple lace low cut dress. Lily & Mariah looked nice too. My problems are with writing this week was: *I’m SO tired of Lily always judging somebody. You would think that she would be happy that Hilary is on date with Jordan & not with Devon. Lily loves to complain about Hilary. *When Hilary went… Read more »
Sharon and Scotty? Was I imagining it or was something there during their coffeehouse encounter?
Lily can get really annoying, since all she does is complain about Hillary. So she now has a claim on Jordan’s love life and who he can and cannot go on dates with…. meaning Hillary! For someone who despises Hillary she sure loves to talk about her all the time. Just be happy she is not with your brother! I’d want Hillary to get back with Devon, even for little bit just to say to Lily “If you don’t want me with Jordan, then I guess I’m back with Devon”.
T, I agree that Lily can be really annoying…
Glad to be of help.
Dear Zoperxplex,
Thank you ever so much for that link! I thoroughly enjoyed watching that first episode and am proud I can say so now!
I am LOVING the Ravi storyline! He’s so sweet and such a different vibe than the other men on the show. And I actually think he has good chemistry with Ashley and Phyllis. When Ravi shut the door and asked Ashley why they couldn’t be more than friends– I was totally into it! Good for Ravi!
Dear Ali:
Since “The Young and The Restless” has chosen to take a trip down memory lane perhaps it is appropriate (particularly given that the forty-fourth anniversary of the show is fast arriving) that we take a look at the very first episode of the series. Here is a link to that program in the event that you may not have seen it before: http://ew.com/article/2013/03/26/young-and-the-restless-first-episode-40th/
I remember watching this a couple of years ago. Oh how I wish we had the Brooks’ and Foster families back! The only connection to this time is Jill and I’m cherishing her every second. I always loved Leslie Brooks, she was so mysterious and mystical.
EXCELLENT!!!! Thank you for posting this! I haven’t had a chance to watch yet, but I absolutely will. YAY! Looking forward to it.
The scenes with Jill on Mon and Tues were very thoughtful. My heart went out to Jill.
Yea, I don’t buy Faith’s apology.
What is with the odd behavior from Scott? It almost seemed like he was gonna bolt instead of returning to GC.
Well, i noticed that. He might have “someone” there, and need money. So he set up the kidnapping to get it, and was hoping to be set free and stay where he is the whomever and the ten million dollars. I don’t think Scott is Bella’s father, as someone suggested, but i do like Marion’s thought that it is Adam’s. Chloe’s rationale could be that Adam took away her child, so she took a child from Adam. And she likes Chelsea, so Connor and Bella would really be brother and sister. That works for me. Genoa City does seem to… Read more »
Is it just me or are portraying Sharon to be jealous of Nick and Chelsea? She just lost Dylan and it seems that she would be on board with Faiths plan to have her and Nick together. Maybe Sharon and Nick are a good pair cause neither like to be single for too long.
Presuming that Scotty does return home safely, how is Lauren going to pay back Victor’s ten million dollars? Exchanging her shares in Fenmore’s perhaps?
I like this theory because it would throw Jack and Victor back into the ring together.
Watching Chloe and Billy last week, I didn’t feel any akwardness from Chloe’s side. I would even say that she came across to me as having a clear conscience about Bella’s paternity as far as Billy is concerned. This little girl’s dad is definitely not Kevin because we would already know about it so I guess it is an off the screen character: how about Adam?
I also thought Chelsea and Nick sleeping together didn’t seem right. This seems thrown together. I think Chelsea and Billy would be better together, seeing Chloe and Victoria’s reaction would be! On Philip Chancellor and Jill, I was around at the time but don’t remember there being a great love story built up. Maybe I was young but I remember everything about Jill and Katherine’s feud going right back to the beginning when Jill and Philip were dodging Katherine’s wrath over being together but not the build up of a true relationship. It could have been more Katherine’s transformation that… Read more »
ROBIN – Your words concerning the love story of Phillip and Jill is so interesting. I have idealized this story as Y&R’s best in it’s 45 year history and nothing is going to interfere with that, but… I hadn’t looked at it in your way before, but I suppose you could say that the J&P romance was indeed plot driven, over a long build-up of true love. Phillip responded to Jill’s innocence and appreciation of everything around her as opposed to the blaze’ bitterness of his wife, who’s drinking and sour breath from smoking he could not tolerate. In Phillip,… Read more »
Without question Victor’s most devilish scheme was kidnapping Jack and having him replaced by a bloodthirsty narcotics trafficker. If his plan had succeeded Jack would have had his life turned upside down. He would have had no contacts with friends or family and he would have been forced to live incognito with Kelly as his wife-perhaps in another country. Phyllis would have ended up living a lie since the man she thought was her husband was actually Marco, and the entire Abbot clan would have been bamboozled as well.
