The writers need to make chelsea a storyline not have her in the sidelines , have her find out what Chloe did to Adam , framing him and maybe killing Adam , that way we can focus a storyline on Chelsea

Hi Ali *hope you read* I for one love Hilary. I hope Hilary & Devon get back together. I know she has done some questionable acts but she truly loves Devon. Women been having cat fights with each other since the beginning of time, besides Mariah got her revenge on Hilary at the gala. I don’t think what Hilary did was high stakes enough for divorce. Hilary tried to tell him and he said he “didn’t want know about the past and he wanted to forward”. Three scenes stuck out to me this week & one of them was with… Read more »

Bravo Y&R, bravo. Amazing scenes with Dylan today. Heart wrenching to say the least. He will be missed.

What I love about Dylan’s storyline is the pacing. It didn’t feel rushed to me at all. The slow burning of Dylan’s character was authentic, and what drew me in was the fact Dylan knew the risks of taking this assignment. His final moments with Paul, Nikki and Sharon were so heartbreaking, but as for me, I would have loved to see him have his final encounter with a few others, such as Nick, Victoria, Mariah, Faith and Chelsea and Stitch. And hell even Phyllis, due to their connection over Avery. But all in all, I will miss Dylan. He… Read more »

I am glad “The Young and The Restless chose not to kill Dylan off. That would have been heartbreaking for Sharon who has suffered alot following the lost of Sully and Faith, not to mention how much pain for Paul and Nikki as well. I hope they recast the role quickly. You get the sense that Dylan was amendable to going off the grid with a new identity as an act of penitence for performing the sin of infidelity.

Cane has some real inferiority, and insecurity issues. Not just with Lily resuming her modeling career, but with Jill and Billy too. Now we can see the writing on the wall when it comes to Lily and Cane…enter the hunky photographer for Brash and Sassy.
I am glad we are getting a real end to Dylan’s story. At least we know, he’ll be gone, maybe one day his character will return. I like it this way versus Adam’s storyline. As viewers we’re left to wonder “is he really dead?”

Where is Chelsea?? It seems that she is side character now. Except for that almost romance with Nick we have barely seen her. I love Chelsea and I loved her with Adam. I really hope they bring Adam back, even if it’s a complete new recast and have him back in the front with Chelsea. It’s okay if they take time to find a good new Adam, but let’s keep her active in Y&R till then. Not just show up here for Newman dinner and there to talk to Hillary.

Was I the only one completely shocked to see Dylan show up at home!? I was totally not expecting that! On one hand, I’m glad they didn’t just send him off on his mission never to be seen again. But now on the other hand I’m having this hope now that Dylan won’t be gone even though I know he will be at some point soon.

Victoria is handling Reed all wrong, since his arrival she has treated him like an inconvenience. Not sure what her problem is, but if she doesn’t make a real effort to bond with her son and guide him through his teen years with love and respect she will cause permanent damage to their relationship. I think it’s wonderful that Reed trusts Billy and looks up to him. The fact that Billy was quite a teenage hellion back in the day gives him a unique perspective and wealth of life experiences to teach Reed not to take that same path, to… Read more »

I totally agree with you Jamie. I was talking to my tv during the scenes with Victoria/Reed/Billy. I kept saying “you need to open up to your son Victoria, what is your malfunction?” I have a 17 yr old son and an 18 yr old son, and they talk to me about everything and spend most of their down time hanging with me, cause we enjoy each other. Victoria manages Reed with a business mentality, not a maternal one.

It is interesting how the narrative has changed to focus on personal issues most viewers would find relevant whether that is a mother-prodigal son relationship or the smattering of animosity underlying Cane’s aversion to Lily reigniting her professional modeling career.

I don’t understand where Victoria is coming from either. Plus I get Billy has made mistakes and has acted in immature ways. But she should know he is not viscous and wouldn’t ever encourage Reed to act that way. What is Billy supposed to do, tell Reed your mom is the one and only person allowed to talk too and turn him away. Be appreciated that Reed finds comfort and trust in someone rather then not tell anyone how he feels.

As a type-A mother of a 12-year old, I can really see some of my “craziness” in Victoria. I think it’s a control-thing. Young kids are so easy to control. Then, they want to have their own opinion, i.e. their own voice; and it can be upsetting to some of us moms. It’s part of wanting to be a “perfect” mom – brought up by our own mothers who expected us to act perfect, in public at least – and fear for our kids that if we let them make their own decisions, they will make a bad decision that… Read more »

Reed won the key to your heart when he purchased internet porn on his mother’s credit card. HA!
Don’t tell him that!
Love that you love when these kids go berserk and start smoking pot & such, over forming chess club and playing the cello like Faith, but you could be singing a different tune, soon…

How did Dylan engineer his escape from Fisk’s henchman? Did he dispatch him in the same manner he did the Mujahideen in Afghanistan?

I Wonder what Victoria’s reaction would be, given her antipathy toward’s her son entertaining some sexual adventure, if she realized that her central office is also featured as the boudoir for Lily’s and Cane’s assignations?

I suspect the Dylan we saw at the end of today’s episode was a figment of Sharon’s fevered brain.

I really want to understand what is going on with Victoria. Why is she so uptight about Reed? Is she acting scared about almost kissing Billy on New Years Eve? Or something else with the pressure of raising a teenager?

I give Devon maybe a week until he cracks and Hilary is back in the penthouse. I have a theory, too, that Lily might become Hilary’s champion and encourage Devon to take her back to help him recover.

Devon “I hate myself for loving you.” the rest of the speech:
“Can’t break free from the things that you do,
I wanna walk, but I run back to you, that’s why
I hate myself for lov’n you.”
