Billy is a mixed up guy it started with the whole Deltya drama and then it went on to where we are now with him feeling as though he needs fixing what is the problem and why can’t he just be happy with who he is and what he has instead of blowing up his life and family

I am team Billy as well! It’s not like if Billy needs to take time off of work Victoria will be working to put food on the table to make ends meet! Billy has his own money granted not as much as Vic ( he obviously didn’t sue his father for 1/2 Billion)) but certainly enough to take time off. Victoria works long hours and is away from her home and family. I do not see why Billy can’t have a drink. It basically amounts to the same thing time away. Billy talks to Amanda because Amanda never judges him.… Read more »

I thought your analysis of Billy was excellent Ali. He does seem to be waiting for someone to fix him in some magical, easy way—and maybe the next new person (like Amanda) has the key. And needing Amanda’s legal help drew her right back into his chaos. It’s sad really. I wish Billy could find his path AND Abby could finally be happy in a long term relationship!

Oehhh Diana made me see the light with Billy: he might be severely depressed. I remember with my first law degree, I worked so hard for it, I EARNED it, and when I finally got it I honestly was not even happy, I had zero emotions about it. I wanted to prove nay-sayers wrong, and show them that I have what it takes and am more than capable. However, when I got it, there was no emotion there. I felt empty and numb. I was not eating well, wanted to just be left alone, wanted to sleep all day. I… Read more »

I actually wasn’t thinking he was depressed, more just feeling sorry for himself and not wanting the life he has. It is an interesting theory you have about Billy being depressed. If I helped you come to that conclusion, than I am glad I was of help. The only thing that doesn’t fit with me with the depression theory is that Billy seems to be happy with Amanda, just not Victoria.
