I want Tara caught and off the show summer and Kyle back together
Hi Ali, just finished Sunday’s Chat, loved it. You asked what it is about GH that makes the show so popular. I am a GH addict. I admit I went many years without watching the show just because I was too busy to keep up. Having said that I have been back in head over heels for several years. I grew up watching GH and would run from the school bus to tune in to what was left for the afternoon. Y&R and GH, are very different shows with different styles. For me, I find a comfort in the characters,… Read more »
Kyle is so clueless. Still asking why, why, why in a boring left-overr from last week.
No pregnancy cravings for me but I couldn’t stand the sight of……..rice. Simple, innocent rice. In real life or on TV. Those tiny grains all piled up, touching each other, made me so ill. Makes no sense! And normally I love rice! Pregnancy is weird, no doubt.
It’s quite funny how Donny Boaz is active on FB and likes comments on Y&R. But, I remember reading somewhere that there was this old Y&R forum back then, where people would talk about Y&R and all of them had nicknames, and then one of them was actually Kristoff St. John (May his soul rest in peace), and he replies to comments and likes them. He’s a nice person.
My two main preggo cravings were mac and cheese with lots of ketchup and all the toppings at a local ice cream shop but no ice cream. I would ask them to layer hot fudge, caramel sauce, marshmallow fluff and salted chopped pecans all the way to the top of a sundae cup.
Awesomeness!
Ali, to answer your question. Yes!, I really eat pickles with ice cream. I scoop out the center of the pickle( Claussen or Vlasic Kosher Dill Brand) and then fill it with the ice cream. So delicious. At least to me.
By the way, as always, you begin my week with so much laughter with your recap. Boy I wish you recapped B&B.
Sunday YR chat is my happy place. Ali always includes some jokes—I’m here for the “Naya, Naya, pants on fire”! But then she very smartly reminded me that one day Adam will find out that Victor covered up for Chelsea and orchestrated her fake insanity plea! Oh no! Well, maybe Adam will just be grateful that Victor kept Chelsea out of prison? But Adam HAS been deceived. Can Adam and Victor’s new harmonious relationship survive if it is built on such a big lie? I don’t know. Secondly, can I now enjoy brotherly scenes with Adam and Nick without staring… Read more »
In New York City they used to sell a drink at candy stores called an egg cream. It consisted of seltzer water and chocolate syrup. One day my brother informed me that if you take milk, chocolate syrup like Bosco and 7up you could recreate the same flavor. I tried it and he was right.
You don’t have any old Delaware Punches that you can ship me from Puerto?
Never heard of Delaware Punches.
Delaware Punch. Singular. It’s a soft drink from dark ages in a glass bottle like Coke that tastes something like grape juice, I guess. No one else has heard of it either. Exclusive distribution? The soft drink choice of Dina Abbott Mergeron in 1969.
Actually not a Mergeron then. She used to pop the top for young Jack in summer when he came in from his crochet lessons with his Gatsby sweater ties around his shoulders. Ugh.
Nooo to Adam going long hair! I love him too much and long hair on men is a huge turnoff to me.
The character that definitely is in need of a haircut is Moses. News flash Moses, Bob Marley died forty years ago.
Hair Police Alert!!! All men must go through the same cookie cutter boring haircut machine! GI Joe haircuts are definitely a sign of good character! Long hair is out of bounds!!! How dare you!!!
(End of Hair Police Alert).
