I was surprised to hear on this week’s chat the idea of Rey truly wanting to help Chelsea- which could lead to a relationship! I thought his current “help” intentions are because he doesn’t necessarily buy her “mental break” and that he wants to expose her. Never thought he could get sucked into an emotional relationship, but I love this twist! His character definitely needs to break away from just puppy- dog eyeing with Sharon.
I really enjoyed the tribute to Neil Winters. Would have liked to see more clips of Dru and Malcolm, but I thought the way they celebrated his life and love of music was touching. The scene that got to me the most was the end when his children put their roses down with the others.
If Tara Locke is a robot does that mean when Kyle had sex with Tara he could say he had sex with a “Fembot” (ala Austin Powers) and if that was the case does Harrison represent some sort of android/humanoid hybrid?
Zoperxplex, Just to keep you honest. Fembots were first introduced on The Bonic Woman, television series, that aired in the late 70’s.
I remember watching “The Bionic Woman” during its original run but I must admit that I don’t recall a reference to a “fembot” on that show. It is possible, however, that this was where Mike Myers got the idea.
Your jokes are way better than Dad jokes. Exhibit A: Photo of sweet little Harrison sitting in Abbott living room. Ali caption: Dina died in that chair. That one was epic!
Did Tara tell Kyle she wasn’t sleeping with Ashland during their affair? How long was their affair anyway? Is that how she has been assuming Kyle’s paternity—no sex with Ashland for that time period? If so, I missed that. I thought she said she had done a paternity test using a sample she obtained from Ashland without him knowing, but maybe I made that up. It’s all a bit foggy. Tara sure seems unbothered about the current paternity test to confirm Kyle as bio father.
It is conceivable that once Tara became aware of her pregnancy that she quickly decided to reignite her love life with Ashland to cover up her infidelity.
You made me Google it, and I was surprised to see that they are actually being broadcast on CBS this year YAY!
I am100% with you on how good the show is right now. The stories feel thought out long term yet with unexpected twistiness, with nice entanglement between them and the characters. The turnaround came after Susan Banks joined the writing team, so I credit her.
YES!! All the good writing should be credited to Susan Banks.
I love that you were as delighted with the Connie mention as I was, now we need a Carol mention from Jack.
