Is it just me or does Jordan know more about Ann Turner than he is letting on? On Tuesday’s episode of YR, Jordan made this cryptic remark about Ann Turner to Hilary. I think the show is now starting to focus on Jordan’s background. Did Jordan know Hilary as Ann Turner?
I have so many questions about Jordan.
Was is it me or was it rude of Ashley to turn Ravi away after he misunderstood he was invited for dinner? If I was Ravi, I think I would look a little differently at Ashley after that, and my feelings wouldn’t be as strong for her as before.
I agree with you Dianna, how rude of Ashley to send Ravi away. That thoroughly rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, yes it was a family holiday, but Ravi is no stranger. He works with Ashley and Jack and he has gone out of his way to be kind and tender with Dina, and play detective with Ashely, regarding Graham. Not to mention, lol, he brought pie from the furthest bakery around!
I really hope that Zack is not dead. They didn’t show the shooting, as apparently Crystal shot Zack dead. I hope he faked it. Zack is a con artist, so maybe he paid someone off to help him fake his death possibly. I hope we have not seen the last of Zack. Bring back Zack! Also, I wish Y&R had some scenes showing Abby being upset about all she had learned about Zack. This was a person whom she fell in love with and was living with. They spent a lot of time together as well as they worked together… Read more »
I was disappointed Fridays rerun was the 2014 Sharon and Nick wedding. I always want to see repeat episodes from the mid 1980s or prior to 2010. I was hoping it would have been the mid 1990s Sharon and Nick wedding. However, if I remember correctly it was around Christmas/New Year when the aired the repeat of the 1984 Nikki/Victor wedding. Other repeats I wish they could air on holidays or just on CBS.com would be the first Cane/Lily wedding or some Lauren/Michael/Sheila episodes. It would have to be episodes with actors still being played by the same actors who… Read more »
Hey Ali! It’s Justin! You asked me if I feel that Y&R is writing Dina as being kooky using Alzheimer’s seriously. I first of want to say that I like the way Y&R writing Jack & Ashley. Those two represent how many families argue and feel when someone in the family gets Alzheimer’s. Jack represent the family member that is slow to accept the reality of what is happening. Ashely represent the family member that has fully accept the reality of what is happening & wants to do something about it. An example of this is when Jack & Ashley… Read more »
I found the talk between Tessa and Nikki unbelievable. As the audience are supposed to expect that Tessa would confide in Nikki when we haven’t seen them interact for months. I find that quite sad actually. I really loved the Nikki and Tessa relationship but the writers dropped the ball on that. one
I realized that I like the Abbott family a lot more than the Newmans. I feel like Jack does a good job of being the head of the family and I feel like the Abbotts are more warm than the Newmans. To me they exude love and warmth. You could really feel it on the Thanksgiving episode.
I have to fully agree with you.
I love that Chrystal shot Zack. For her own self-preservation. AND, there is a legal defense called “Defense of Others”. She defended others’ lives from deadly force with deadly force. I don’t think it mattered that he was shot in the back, because that’s the only shot she had to defend and protect the others’ lives. And, it doesn’t matter that she ran afterwards. The RESULT will be that the law will protect her, even if she didn’t KNOW the law protected her.
Hilary! Looks lovely in almost every outfit. I loved, loved, loved the blue one shoulder top from Monday’s episode. The ruffle was a bonus! And her lipstick perfectly matched the pink flowers in the top. A raspberry color – but Ribbons!
YES! How did she lose that baby weight so fast!!! I’m envious.
I have always been back and forth on the character Hillary. Some times I really love her and others I get annoyed. I have been more on the side of enjoying her character recently but I do not understand her going up to Jordan with a camera going live and just expect him to sit and discuss his past with her. Jordan has never been my favourite, but honestly good on him for dishing it out on Hillary. Plus how obvious was the camera man she was initially trying to hide.
Devon is just a useless and pathetic character. Everytime he tries to defend Hilary against Jordan I just want to slap him. He don’t even know what’s going but sticking his nose in someone’s business. Devon makes me want to shoot myself lol
Zack has been in Genoa City for months! But just as Zack. Monday’s episode mentioned his last name so many times, it just reminded us we didn’t even know it before. Stinnet. Who knew?
Luv luv the police station scenes. The character’s criticizing the investigation skills of the GCPD hilarious! And the quotes to be had from those scenes guffaw!
I hope Jack jumping to the Alzheimer’s conclusion means it is not true. Another inconsistency is that Dina appeared in early scenes with Graham to know she had an illness, causing her to sell Mergeron, and want to see her kids “one last time” as Graham once slipped to Ashley. It seems it is early on enough that she would still remember knowing she is sick.
Last week I said that Deena’s behavior – which seemed silly – lacked a unifying explanation. She pocketed the restaurant silverware, stabbed Nicki, and climbed into a stranger’s car. Apparently now that explanation is Alzheimer’s Disease. You mention, Ali, that maybe this isn’t being treated seriously enough. It feels at this point as though its being trivialized by Deena’s behavior. Like Mal Young, I experienced this disease through a parent. I hope that as Deena’s story progresses, the writing captures a truer portrayal of how this disease manifests itself. Otherwise it’s a mistake to use Deena’s diagnosis as a catch-all… Read more »
