Yeah. Dina really took that quack doctor down a peg or two with her great wise-cracks! Seems perfectly sane to me. Who among us can count backwards from 100 by 7??? Oh. All the chatters… Personally, I felt she did rather well with the testing. Everything from knowing what year it is on down the line… OK, big deal. At the end DAM became overwrought at the thought of a granddaughter in danger and was mental blocking over drawing 9:00 on the face of a clock. Does this really make her koo-koo? Jack grabbed her drawing so fast she didn’t… Read more »
Escorting Dr. Berg gingerly out the front door, like an unwanted solicitor, shows great compassion from a son who loves his mother.
Don’t do this to me…Dina, nooooo. I don’t think I can watch Dina fade away, I just don’t think I can. Every time Jack’s voice cracks, or he gets a tear in his eye, my heart breaks. Having just finished watching Friday’s show, I went from cracking up at Dina’s wisecracks to the dr. to crying in sympathy with Jack and Ashley.
I don’t know about you all, but did you catch the hidden gem when Abby said “we’ll see in 9 months” joking about her being pregnant after she had sex with Scott? What a tie in LOL. It’s too easy not to say they will write the actress’ pregnancy into the story, and therefore, unfortunately, Zach might be around for awhile
I loved Ashley’s blue dress this week and her hair. She had a futuristic look, like a character from the Jetsons. I also liked Phyllis’s royal blue dress, as I have always loved that colour. Hilary’s sweater dress she wore on the Hilary hour looked very nice too.
I thought Zach looked hot in his suit when he got off the elevator at the event for Abby. He looked really sharp. I also really enjoyed the driving scene with Zach and Abby in the car. It feels realistic when they are shown in a car. I appreciated the length of that scene as usually the car scenes are very quick due to a character getting into a car accident. I have to say I am disappointed that Zach will likely be leaving the show now that his secret has been revealed, even though I knew it coming. He… Read more »
Three words: Hilary is despicable.
Lol Gary, “boo hoo I got shanked.” I mean how much damage could an elderly woman inflict? Although Ms. Mergeron is quite spicy, even still, Nikki had to see a plastic surgeon? Scott crumbled like a house of cards in front of an open window. I’m not surprised he had PTSD, just thought a more precarious situation would have brought it out, not laying on a couch in a storage unit. I’ll bet looking foolish, that Paul and Sharon are going to be a couple in the near future. Why does Paul run everything by Sharon? There’s been an awful… Read more »
I was expecting and Abby and Scott hook up, but I felt it came out of nowhere in that scene in the storage unit. I thought when that mostest happened we get a whole romantic scene with it, but it was quick kiss and then next episode opening it’s done already. Not how I was picturing it would happen.
Is it possible Tessa has been undercover? It would explain her reluctant half rejection of Maraih, but I guess not her being with Noah, unless she was trying to get information on a bigger story involving the Underground, Chelsea, something?
So how are we going to explain these events and keep the characters on show? Deena did have a stroke, and her behavior could be a result of travel too soon after. Any true alzheimer symptoms would have been more subtle and slower to present. I agree with a previous comment that it is a serious disease, but since it is a soap opera, i would prefer the temporary diagnoses of stroke recovery. Deena is great! It would be nice to keep her on canvas to argue with Nicki and flirt with Ravi. Where is he anyway? And i think… Read more »
Dina’s character seems to exemplify a change in the program’s direction toward the improbable and silly. She’s like Waldo. One minute she’s at the restaurant stealing the silverware, the next stabbing Nikki, and a moment later she turns up in the back seat of Zack’s car. Maybe there’s a unifying explanation for all this kookiness that has yet to be revealed. I’d really been liking the focus on personal relationships and the believability that the previous head writer had brought to the show. I’m willing to reserve judgement for a while, but if a long lost twin or doppelganger shows… Read more »
What do i think of the new writing? First, to compliment the previous writing – it was rich with content and history. The storyline was deep and believable. As a long time viewer, it was nice to sometimes mention a reference to a past storyline and tie it in, sometimes with flashbacks. The dialog was intelligent (for a soapopera), and made the viewer think back and forward for each character. The new writing is shallow, disconnected, like the writer never saw any episodes beyond the week before taking over. The excuse that they are writing to lure new viewers is… Read more »
I never like juliat but they have written her exit poorly , I wanted her to leave town not to die but in the court room I did feel bad for her , am glad Charlie was there for juliat , her death was out of nowhere , the writers should of have juliat leave town and let cane raise the baby with lily , the writers need a storyline for Charlie they should do a storyline with him trying to find a job or he is having trouble at school , Ali you are not the only one ,… Read more »
Since I have been underwhelmed from day one with most of the new characters who were introduced this current year, I am not sorry to see Juliet, Jordan, Graham, or Zach leave the show. If they use Lauren, Michael, Paul, Neil and several other long term characters who have been on the backburner since early 2017, it is definitely worth it. However, once these stories are concluded, it will be up to the new writer(s) to create more compelling new characters/stories to catch on with viewers sooner than later. Hilary is the only long lasting character who has been introduced… Read more »
