Was so sorry to hear Jerry Douglas passed. He was everyone’s favorite father. Condolences to his family and friends. His co stars on Y&R must be heartbroken. He is missed on Y&R as much as Katherine

Thanks for liking my Jerry story, Ellen. It did play kinda nice although I was surprised it hit the big time onto Y&R Chat as it was kind of irreverent on the occassion of the real John Abbott’s death. I never read much about Jerry Douglas so I don’t have a strong sense of who the actor was as a person. Ali, are we not able to comment on old posts? I was looking back at the watch & chat from the Newman launch party but it seems like comments are locked. I enjoyed the party especially Adam & Sally! Sally’s dress was wow! I’m actually watching Oct episodes but still in September for the chats.
When you say they had the cut the Sutton’s and Amanda storyline I really wish they cut the baby storyline because that wasn’t that interesting to me because they made Mariah just all about the baby not her relationship with Tessa

I’m glad they recast Chance ,maybe this storyline will make more sense when he gets back. Supposed to be on end of month for Thanksgiving I presume. Maybe Abby will find him after all .

So let me get this straight, Chance is suppose to survive an explosion that not only manages to blow his watch off his wrist but even his wedding ring off his finger and yet he burrows his way out of the rubble suffering only from memory lost? Not very likely. I don’t believe his was in the building in the first place.

I don’t think Chance was there and he probably didn’t have his ring or watch on. Maybe he wanted everyone to think he is dead. Don’t think he will have amnesia , but he may have new face if he was burned since role is recast
