Hey Nick remember when you hid Summer’s paternity for 18 years! Also Chelsea you did the same thing to Dylan! This town is full of hypicrites
He hid Summer’s paternity? I thought the original test came out “Inconclusive” and Nick decided to let it go at that. It turned out that he was right; that Nick’s 50/50 gamble that he was the dad ended up being correct when they conducted a second test.
Saint Nick is being his usual holier than thou self by beating up Sharon, but I’m surprised he can’t sympathize with Dillon even a little bit. He will be in the same situation as Dillon is now when Adam comes back. So that means he will just willingly let Adam take Christian in the middle of the night, because that’s what he expects Dillon to allow him to do. It will be interesting to see what happens when the shoe is on the other foot…
With thinking that Adam is precieved dead, Nick would just have equal right to raise Christian as Chelsea would. Nick was married to Sage who was the mothers and Chelsea to Adam who is the father. The question could be who would have more of right to look after the child? The husband of child’s mother or wife of child’s father?
Very, very interesting. I never thought about it like that. I always thought Chelsea trumped anyone. But you’re right, Nick is on even ground with Chelsea. How smart of you.
Oooooh I like that concept. You’re so right about that. I was being bias toward just Chelsea raising Christian but that theory is brilliant.
I believe the question has both scientific and legalistic arguments that a family court judge is required, I assume, to take into account during his deliberations. If we follow the scientific argument we must consider the fact that Nick is 50% related to Adam as a consequence of Adam being Nick’s half brother (they only share a common father). Given that each parent contributes 50% of a child’s genetic make, Nick’s one half D.N.A.’s commonality to Adam is reduced to 25% commonality to Christian. Nick, however, is not the only living relative sharing the same 25% genetic relationship to Christian,… Read more »
Zoperxplex, your intuitiveness is engaging. The points you made were certainly valid. However, after some considerable thought I may have changed my mind about Chelsea raising Christian. I now feel Victor will be the one to get custody of the baby. Strange, yes, but once Nick is clued in to Christian’s true paternity he really has no right to him. Victor is a direct blood relative of Christian, and so I feel he will fight for custody of the little tike.
I hope everybody is having a wonderful Friday! But there is a possibility (most likely true) that Judith Chapman (Gloria) might be coming back in late December. I think that having her around Chloe and Kevin will be an interesting story with the dynamic of the characters. I am just excited to have Judith back!
Following today’s episode it has become quite apparent that Billy and Victoria are headed for a reunion once again. How many times has that now been? I can not describe to you how much I am not looking forward to this development. “The Young and The Restless” has completely emasculated the character of Billy in my opinion. Simultaneously, we witness Cane suffering an injury while playing basketball with his children. Does this mean Cane will be out of commission for a while perhaps presenting Brash and Sassy with the dilemma of trying to keep the ship of state sailing while… Read more »
Heartbreak and joy
over a little boy
A baby thought to have died
One that was never born
Sharon lied
Now the family is torn
In the end who is to blame?
Dr. Anderson played a sick game…
Christian and Sully are one in the same
Sandra you are awesome! Love this
Much like everyone else, I am SO happy this secret is finally out, however now that it’s out and I’m being forced to watch the heart wrenching scenes, I feel gutted. I try not to get too emotionally invested in story lines, especially far fetched “baby switching” ones, but damn….these actors are pulling me in and truly making me feel endless amounts of sympathy. This has got to be one of the most depressing moments ever!!!
Something really bothered me about the scene between Mariah and Paul. Why didn’t Mariah just come out and tell him? Everyone involved in this story pretty much knows by now so why couldn’t Paul know at that second? It would’ve saved so much more time and Paul could have easily stepped in to comfort his son.
Someone please give Sharon Case, Joshua morrow, Camryn grimes and Steve Burton an emmy already! They all killed it this week
Couldn’t agree more, Jazmin! I’d fault Morrow a little bit for his over the top, high decibel approach (I think he does best in happy doofus mode), but the entire ensemble has really stepped up. The scene Wed. between Sharon Case and Camyrn Grimes was very moving.
I am really hoping that this whole thing with the secret being out does not come in between Nick and Dylan. They have come so far as brothers and I love their dynamic together. Neither one of them is to blame for Sharon’s lies. I just hope they don’t let what Sharon did come in between them. They’ve developed a pretty good brotherly connection.
Here we go. The secret is out. But there are so many factors involved. When Chelsea went to Victor and explained what’s going on, I just knew Victor would want Nick to raise that child BUT I totally disagree with Victor. I believe I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again: Chelsea should be the one to raise Christian. It’s wrong on all levels to have Nick continue to believe that is his son when we as viewers, as well as Chelsea and Victor know that is Adam’s child. I do not want Nick to suffer any more than… Read more »
I love you Connor! Couldn’t have said it better.
Thanks Sandra! Yeah I’m just infuriated at the fact Victor said that, and clearly Chelsea can see Nick hurting so why add to that when she can clear all of that up by exposing the real entire truth about just who is Christian’s father.
In all of this, I hope Mariah doesn’t come out the biggest loser. Her mother was wrong, in so many ways, to confide in her and enlist her help.
Sharon is right. Everyone is a victim in this deceit. Her, Dillon, Nick, Sage, Adam, and Chelsea. But let’s not forget that it was Sharon who got the ball rolling on this lie by not telling Dillon about her miscarriage. She has been telling lies long before Christian was born. Also, Nick could reasonably blame Sharon for the death of Sage.
Agree with you James. No doubt Nick will hold Sharon responsible for Sage’s death. Amongst Sharon’s many sins, Sage’s death most likely will be blamed on her.
I’m absolutely screaming inside that the secret is out. I hated that Sharon kept the truth about Sully from everyone. But just seeing her in those few scenes today, I felt very sorry for her. She put herself in the role of victim as she confessed to Nick. And in that moment I saw her differently. I can’t say I could forgive her if I were a character on the show, but I could understand why she did what she did. The moment Nick brushed Sharon’s hand aside as Sully reached out for her was intense and foretelling. There won’t… Read more »
Tomorrow will be Sharon being fed to the lions “Part Deux”; in this case by the hands of Dylan.
Finally, a juicier role for Sharon Chase to act upon and not that comical bug-eyed shot that has her looking like a Looney Tunes cartoon who had just been struck by lightning.
Hey Ali i just want to ask a question we’re all thinking. Who’s the baby daddy?
