I’m giving you very high marks for your singing! So—are you taking requests? Please? I really need you to do just one verse of John Mellencamp’s “Jack and Diane” if they ever get around to having that wedding celebration Jack keeps talking about. You can serenade us with that little ditty! You know you will want to 😉

Hey Ali! As someone who only recently returned to Y&R—with a vengeance—since the beginning of summer (having mostly been away since 2017 or so), I’ve enjoyed the flashbacks. They’re a viewer-friendly way to get people like me up to speed.

Love your podcast. Thanks so much for your dedication!

With the Paramount Plus app, I am not planning on going away again! I watch while doing dishes and making breakfast.

Ali, I believe it was Josh Griffith’s intentions for awhile now to have more control of the writing. He made that statement in an interview to Soap Opera Digest, after he fired those Five Writers of which Four were Women and one of them had being with the show for at least 20 years. She had tremendous knowledge of the characters history. But oh well. So, him being the Head Writer and only writer for the moment was fine with him. It seems however that the writers strike may be over.
