I don’t like Nick relapsing again, time for him to overcome this addiction, maybe he needs an intervention from his family and friends. And Matt will probably help him too which he won’t care about.
Now that Noah is leaving where does this leave Audra? She is still single and alone. I hope Y&R considers Adam and Audra together. I think they would have so much chemistry! I definitely don’t find Adam and Chelsea very exciting. We could see Chelsea turn a little dark as she seeks revenge on Audra for stealing her boyfriend away from her. Nothing very serious, like poisoning people as she did to Ray, but less sinister things and finding ways to jeopardize their relationship. I can’t say that I was sad to hear that Noah and Sienna are leaving the show. Nothing very exciting was going on with them. I have not watched all of the episodes yet but I saw in the previews that Danny will be running the club. I like this idea a lot better than Noah and Sienna. I have wanted Danny and Cricket to be on the show more permanently and it looks like that is what will be happening. Yay! I think Y&R will likely have some turmoil for Danny and Cricket by possibly having a new woman… Read more »
I have to say I absolutely LOVE Matt and Phyllis together. I was happy to hear that I am not the only one after reading the positive comments on here. I know not everyone feels this way after listening to the negative opinions on the two of them on Y&R chat a couple of weeks ago. I was so pleasantly surprised by how much chemistry they had and how much I enjoyed their steamy love scenes! Listened to the recent podcast of Daytime Confidental. They hosts said the new writers will began on August 1st. They predicted their episodes would begin mid-September. They also said Jamey Giddens grew up watching Y & R with his grandma. He knows the history of the show well. The cast on DC predict they will bring back the “young and restless” in the shows title. They also said this job is Jamey Gidden’s dream job. Dan O’Connor recently wrote on General Hospital and they liked the majority of his writing. They also said both writers will honor the veteran actors… Read more »
Spoiler: Monday’s US episode begins: “Previously on Young and the Restless…” and there’s nothing better than a few pages out of Dickens. Though usually, the protagonist gets visited by spectral guides in December, not a midsummer afternoon.
Josh Griffith recently wrote a similar type of episode for another character on the show. I just can’t remember, maybe Mariah.
Yes, I’m bragging and tickled pink about the little blast from the past. The rich and famous Newman’s and I have something in common. A landline phone and the same phone number since the mid 70’s. 🙂

Sally away on a sudden family emergency trip? The Newmans have a landline? What topsy turvy universe have we been thrown into? Sally’s sister Coco in LA needs a procedure? I wonder if Y&R will pull Sally and Adam together and with Noah and Sienna gone, will Billy and Audra form a connection?
Audra would make a great step-mom to savvy Katie! And I can visualize Johnny eyeing Audra and giving dad a high five! Those kids have such great personalities from what little we’ve been given. The execs would be wise to bring back those two. This reminds me that Faith has vanished too. But Noah suggested to Sharon that she still has Christian around. What an odd comment. I doubt Sharon has been baking cookies for Christian in between her multiple kidnappings etc.
Chelsea! I had to do a double take. I knew her hair was blonde but it’s straight today and it caught me off guard. She looks good, as always. I want to know who called in that huge Crimson Light catering order! How many mulberry muffins were in those boxes? I still think there is some secret buried in Chancellor, but Billy is acting like Nick without his fentanyl about it. Oh my gosh! Nikki looks so beautiful and the dress is age appropriate. Victor’s expression when he sees her really got to me. My tears and catch in my heart prove Y&R still has it. I still care!!
Nikki and Victor can always bring the feels, it doesn’t matter what decade it is.
“Victor…..What have you done….” The almost child-like sparkle in Nikki’s eyes reminds me why Nikki will always go back to Victor.

I’m going to put aside my opposition to thumb holster sleeves and brag about Sally’s beautiful baby bump/maternity dress. That color and pattern was stunning and so flattered her hair color. She was also color coordinated with Adam’s leather jacket. Again, both would risk clothing related heat stroke if worn in this summer heat.
Adam looks great and so does Sally. I get tired of her sleeves too, but you’re right, the colors in her dress really compliment her hair color.
How does one wash their hands in those holster sleeves? What about after the restroom or before eating? I suppose you could unlatch them then wash, but they will still be wet. My hands are always a little damp still for a minute.
The look is a Sally speciality. She’s either got that holster thing or something with sleeves too long that partially covers her hands. Maybe she has an unfortunate tattoo.

Second one of the week….Yawza! Nikki was absolutely gorgeous and that dress was perfection! My only criticism, where’s Lauren to verify this is a Fenmore design?

Yes, I forgot she’s probably swamped getting that company up and running while Phyllis hangs around town.
I thought Michale was going to say to Nikki, “Never fear my dear, Lauren is here to save the day”, then pull her out of the coat closet and send her up stairs to get her ready.
