I was saddened to hear the news about Billy Miller. It was incredibly shocking. Whenever I think of Billy, I always think of Billy Miller character portrayal, and it brings me joy. It is so hard to believe that someone who always seems so lively, and full of happiness going through so much pain that no one really saw. it just goes to show you never really know what is going on with people and you should always check on all your friends, especially the ones who seem to always smile and hold everyone up but you never know what’s… Read more »

ALI, I have FOUND this and it is a beautiful set up, worthy of you and of Billy. So dignified and elegant. You have done all of us proud.

I hope YR does a full tribute episode for Billy Miller after some time passes. It would be special to have some of his most memorable work and messages from the cast in one place, to mark his contributions. His personal story is important—we need to keep our eyes open and watch out for each other. Sometimes we can’t help, doctors can’t help and it all gets to be too much. I just keep thinking of Billy and others who reach that moment.

Ellen, that would be great. It is a question if Y&R would do it? We currently have a Billy but that should not matter. With Jeanne Cooper everyone sat around her living room out of character and talked about her. Same with Kristoff. Billy may not have Jeanne Cooper status or Kristoff’s longitivtiy but from the tributes he was admired and liked by everyone. Eric Braden can lead the parade. Billy Abbott turned poignant with the death of Delia and the whole thing makes me very melancholy. Yes, there is an audience to remember our memorable Billy.

I am heart broken about Billy Miller. I always hoped that he would come back to Y&R. He was the best “Billy Boy” ever. Loved his sense of humor and great smile. Peace Billy

This is heartbreaking. I had not heard this terrible news until today’s Y&R Chat. Billy Miller was iconic at Billy Abbott. He was definitely my favorite version of the character. Billy Miller was a tremendous talent. He will be missed.

I was so sad and shocked to hear about Billy Miller. He was a great actor, my favorite Billy Abbott . He did a great job on GH too Jason/Drew. Y&R had a short tribute Thursday ,hope they do more. I know they stopped production for one day to have a memorial for the cast. GH usually has a day they devote to a character when someone dies, hope they do one for Billy. He was a nice guy, always smiling. Always looking like he was enjoying life. If he was struggling he hid it well. He was also in… Read more »

Others have said it and it’s worth repeating – Billy Miller was unforgettable in his role as Billy Abbott. He played the care free Billy Abbott perfectly and always with a sense that he had a deeper self that no one saw except Victoria.

I was shocked and so sad to see the death of Billy Miller. He was a great actor, my favorite Billy Abbott and also Drew /Jason on GH. Was nice of Y&R to give a memorial after Thursday’s show. They are doing their own memorial for the cast shutting down production for a day. GH usually has a day for cast members who die to show flashbacks and talk about the person, but not sure what they will do for Billy He was always smiling ,he hid his depression very well at least in his work. Condolences to his family… Read more »

Oh Billy I wish you knew how much everyone who ever seen you act loved you. Your talent was just as great as the Golden Era of Hollywood.
I was twenty-five years old when you were born. My old soap eyes are so sad to see you’ve left us. There will never be another you.

Loss of funster Billy is hard to shake off. I agree he was the best BA, but it is impossible to compare him to Jason Thompson as he was cast as a nght & day opposite to Billy Miller. Y&R tried to hold on to the Billy Abbott blonde idea for a while with the replacements and then they finaally just tanked the concept to make Billy someone completely different. Billy Miller brought us the two Billy Abbotts. The fun one with all the irrepressible hijinks and then the defeated one with the loss of Delia. I just remember Billy… Read more »

I’m very saddened to hear that Billy Miller passed away. My condolences to his family, his friends, and his fans. He was, in my opinion, the best Billy Abbott. When they refer to Delia, I always think of him because I could tell that their onset dynamic was a caring extension of their offset relationship. May his memory be a blessing to all that loved him!
