Wow is Phyllis good. I have been waiting for her to finally get what is coming to her and in the scene with Summer in Jacks office, she almost had me feeling bad for her. Also, loved the Society scene with all the characters (including Adam, Sally, Lauren, & Michael) it was like the hits just kept coming. All with the final scene after Sally’s news, where Phyllis turned around and said Everyone has lost their minds. I can hear Ali saying…”SO GOOOOD!”

Agreed! there is a reason the nickname here is SICK – blah!

Soooooooo, Phyllis is clearly the sacrificial lamb of the Destroy Diane Trio, sure she contacted Jeremy Stark, but……….the other two were all for it until their abrupt 180 at the last minute. If I were Phyllis, I would tell her whole crew, Summer included, to effff all the way off, each and every one of those hypocrites has done reprehensible deeds equal to and worse than Phyllis’ shenanigans. Enough of the poor Diane, pity party, she dug her own hole.

A little unexpected surprise in seeing Jess Walton and Patrick Duffy on Christmas with a View, now available on Netflix. The movie is slightly above average but it was fun to see both of these iconic soap stars in small, but significant roles.

I really liked the scene where Devon went to Nate’s office to confront him as to why he was inquiring what happened between he and Amanda. I love their rivalry. I am so glad the show has given Nate much more of an personality and made his character a lot more compelling. I found it somewhat amusing when Nate was asking Devon what it was that Devon didn’t want Nate to know about his relationship with Amanda. You could tell that Devon was worried about Nate finding out what he did after lecturing Nate on being a good honest person.… Read more »

I know I have mentioned this in the past. I don’t know why Y&R never shows any of the characters decorating their homes for Christmas. It would be so much more realistic than us just seeing the house all done up all of a sudden. It makes the characters seem so much more like real people when we see them in their homes doing things everyday people do, such as decorating their tree. I know we used to see Victor and the kids putting the star on the tree when Victoria and Nick were little. It is these little things… Read more »
I just finished watching this episode where Summer is putting on an ornament and saying that she decorated the tree. That is realistic but I don’t know who was decorating before Summer moved in and put up all of that garland that is up so high? The Abbotts are rich, Jack should just tell everyone that the interior decorators he hired did it to make it believable.

I hope Y&R does not put Chance with Sharon as it seems to be heading this way. We are seeing more scenes with Chance at Sharon’s coffee shop and having conversations. I would much rather see Chance with Chelsea and Adam with Sharon. There was a lot of chemistry between Sharon and Adam when they were last intimate all those years ago. I don’t buy Chance being gaga over Sharon the way I believe that Adam is.
I’m hoping the Sharon and Chance scenes are a way to transition Chance back into normal life and showing him having friends outside Abby. They even showed him connecting with Adam again. I kinda like the thoughts of Chance and Chelsea (the cop and the con)!

I enjoyed Ashley’s date with Tucker at the park outside for a winter picnic. I don’t think we have seen anyone do that before on the show. Tucker was very creative with this plan to try and win Ashley’s heart. I am still rooting for them despite his recent rendezvous with Audra. I know Ali you mentioned last week that Tucker doesn’t deserve another chance with Ashley because he has cheated on Ashley in the past. I think you may be being too hard on Tucker Ali, as he is not the only one to have cheated on their spouse.… Read more »
To me it is not about the past, when Tucker will profess to anyone that he wants Ashley now,I know that technically they are not together, but it seems that he and Audra have an arrangement and this is currently happening. Also for me, as they are my couple, Mariah cheating on Tessa, made absolutely no since, as per the reason the writers presented. I wouldn’t have taken her back.
Mariah was lucky that Tessa took her back. Mariah assumed without discussing her feelings with Tessa, that Tessa had more going on with her ex husband than there really was. Mariah just jumped to conclusions. She was thinking with her heart and not her head when she cheated on Tessa.

Sorry to be posting comments late this week Ali. Everyone keeps talking about what a horrible person Diane is for abandoning Kyle and letting him think she was dead, What about Dina. She does not win mother of the mother of the year award. She left 3 children behind so she could go galivanting with different men. No she did not let Kyle think she was dead but it isn’t that different as Jack and his siblings were left behind to be raised by their father and house keeper. I don’t know which one is worse. To me it almost… Read more »

Something to look forward to is Chelsea Lawson facing the Newman festivities!
I know! She went from afraid to venture beyond the coffee house to lets go to the Newman ranch and be interrogated by my former inlaws (including two exes (Adam and Nick). Oh what fun- I guess its better than being alone at Christmas though.
Another example Chelsea’s character isn’t making sense right now.

I’m not going to go into wheather Billy & Chelsea’s friendship is good or bad for them but feel Billy brings a kind of moroseness with him. The real Billy Miller could bring greater upbeatness to Chelsea.

Devon always looks like he just took a big bite of a lemon when he gives his opinion of a new business idea. Daniel might want to talk to Nate to find out what it’s like to work with Devon. Lily better rein Devon in soon, or Daniel will be discouraged by Devon‘s meddling.
I think even Lily was irked by Devon with his knee jerk criticism. At least he’s dependable in showing a lack of excitement for anything other than acting on an opportunity to cheat.

So Phyllis confessed all to Jeremy S and then the Abbotts whereupon when Jack choose not to do it himself Summer fired her a__. Now if there’s just no “waffling”. Will Phyllis be forced to “leave town” , to turn a phrase, in disgrace??? To find a job….
And I don’t appreciate the waffling of the writers where to save their characters souls have P, A & N now saying, “Oh, we didn’t want anything BAD to happen to Diane. Just leave town.” OWN what you have done, witches. Be proud.
They didn’t care, they just wanted her gone any witch way.

I don’t think the story will actually go this direction BUT I’m nervous about Chelsea pushing through all these apologies. She failed in her first attempt to be unalive. She’s being more careful now. She’s going through the motions as agreed so she could be released from the 72 hour hold. Now she’s showing classic signs of putting her affairs in order by making amends with her friends and family although she hasn’t started giving away belongings. Another chat person, maybe Ron, has wondered what the counselor actually said to her. Surely we won’t be put through the shock of… Read more »
Yes, the amends felt too rehearsed even though other scenes felt natural. I will say I was glad the show finally explained the reclusiveness in staying at home or the coffee shop. Chelsea explained going out in the world seemed like too big of a step too soon that might send her back into a spiral. This makes sense for someone depressed that only sees darkness and negativity.

Brilliant one liners TB84, but I can’t get excited over Sal & Nick.

At least at the moment the idea of Chance & Sharon seems very DULL. Which Y&R must surely realize unless they have a rabbit up their sleve.
I agree, DULL is the perfect word for their chemistry!
