Everything Sally said to Adam was completely true. Even though Adam tried to defend himself, he knew she was right. He feels guilty about that article but he still did it. Almost everyone is plotting against Victor about the AI and his plans to destroy Jack. He knows about Nikki, but when he finds out Michael is also against him he is going to go nuclear. I agree Sally was right on with what she said to Adam. He didn’t like hurting Jack but did what Victor wanted anyway. He always wanted Vicrtor’s approval no matter what.
I hope Phyllis does get the AI program back and gives it to Jack, but she may keep it for herself and destroy Newman, Víctor would deserve that. Billy would definitely do that, I miss Gloria too, she is a hoot!, hope she comes back even for a bit.
I anticipated the cat fight between Audra and Claire and at that time,I said my money was on Audra. Boy, was I wrong! I thought Audra would have the upper hand as the instigator.Claire is fearless and won’t back down and immediately fought back during round one. During this go round, Claire was the drink throwing instigator and Audra is either in shock or afraid to fight back. I lost my bet but, the price of admission was worthwhile. Audra and Claire scenes are fun to watch, they really go after each other. Claire does have a dark side, it comes out with Audra, Claire is playing both Kyle and Holden. She did seem surprised Kyle gave up and is moving on.
Will Audra and Claire be the next Sharon and Phyllis or Katherine and Jill?
Kind of loving the Claire-Audra rivalry. Am I the only one rooting for Audra?!

I like Claire but feel for Audra. She can never get the best job or partner. She is too manipulative. Claire has a dark side as we saw when she was with Jordan, so Audra better watch out
I am still working on catching up with the show. I am on holidays, so I am getting close. I just watched Noah getting knocked out by Annie at look out point. As soon as I saw them there, it was very predictable that something was going to happen. Yet knowing that, I still jumped when Noah was attacked…lol. Having said that, I do not feel sorry for Noah or Sienna after they put themselves in danger. Chelsea listening quietly to Adam needle Sally about the ‘old Billy’ returning is beyond jarring. It’s peak hypocrisy considering she and Adam have returned to their knees doing Victor’s bidding. Just weeks ago, they were lamenting Victor’s control and vowing to stand up to him, yet here they are—doing nothing but enabling his vendetta. Chelsea knows Newman Media doesn’t produce ‘journalism’; it’s just a weapon against whoever Victor is at war against, making Chelsea’s complicity impossible to ignore. Christmas Eve episode is wonderful. I even got over being mad at Victor – and he didn’t even need to buy me a thing.
By the end of the episode I have tears and actual sympathy for Victor. I forget he has a fear of loved ones leaving him. When Nikki threatened to leave him, no wonder he yelled at her. His fear overcame him.

CBS gave us a gift in this Christmas classic episode. When I was invited by family to spend Christmas afternoon at their house I told them I would on one condition: at 1:00 we must watch Y&R. Family that aren’t frequent viewers marveled at what a quality episode it was and the impeccable acting from Eric Braeden. We reminisced about how much our grandmother loved Y&R. I must have missed it when it originally aired as it was new to me & I was stunned at who was represented by the ghost of Christmas yet to be! What great writing.

As I watched the first 10 minutes of the Christmas Episode. It really reinforced to me that old and trite saying that “Money Cannot Make You Happy”. Victor Newman reflects that wealth may take care of your physical and worldly needs but it does not fulfill your spiritual ones. Victor Newman became a man without humanity. That’s the same way I viewed Victor’s scenes with Nikki. That’s why I always have a soft spot for Victor. If not for the family he created and stands behind; he would have no family at all!

All it took was a million dollar antique diamond and ruby Marie Antoinette momma necklace and Nikki is ready to throw Jack under the bus and wish him luck. hahaha Victor should have given her the AI as a Christmas gift. She would have been so happy. We got some sad insight into Sally’s childhood. A drunk gambling neglectful father. That was really sad. I wonder if her dad was on B&B when she was on there. I agree with all points. I know it’s corny, but I also loved the holiday wishes from the cast. Gets to me every year! I also wish Victor had given Nikki the program. Why not? He could at least have given it to her (while having his IT department keep a backup copy). For that matter, why didn’t Cane keep a backup?
