Does anyone think that a romance may be headed for Sharon and Detective Burrows? I would be up for that.

I suppose I am one of the few chatters who find Noah and Sienna to have a lot of chemistry, and I find their relationship to be believable. It feels authentic to me that Noah met her at her nightclub through her husband, and they were having an affair behind her husband’s back. Their story feels relatable as Sienna is not rich, and many young men find older women attractive. I feel like the audience is being too hard on this couple.

I like this Noah in general. I’m enjoying his return. Most interested I’ve been in this character tbh

Does Sharon realize how amazing it is that not too long ago she was seeing the ghost of a villain that was telling her to do bad things and now her daughter Mariah just went through the exact same thing? Wow..,…what are the odds? The apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Did anyone else find it amusing when Sharon was talking to Chelsea at the coffee house, and she said that she understands that it’s hard for people to sympathize with what it is like for a person to lose complete control of their actions and their mind? Really Sharon? What? This is your perfect opportunity to say to Chelsea. ” You know all about this” “Remember when you embezzled thousands of dollars from Fenmores and then knocked me over the head and took off in your car to another state never to be seen again.”. After you returned to Genoa… Read more »

Dear Claire Newman, since you’re all about honesty and coming clean, when do you plan to let Holden know that you did, in fact, poison Jordan? Cold blooded killer YOU are. Game recognizes game, yeah?

Great point! Who is Claire to act like she has some innocent past.

Nick came skipping to his loo, swinging his cane over his head into the coffee shop! Fentanyl much?

Sometimes the guy’s bang up swoop gets a bit out of control and looks crazy. Today I’m looking at you, Adam.

Victoria’s plan to get Phyllis’ kids to join the Newman side will definitely upset Phyllis, but it won’t get her to give the company back. She will be more dug in and disown her kids.

Soaps she knows.com reports Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox will briefly reprise their roles as Malcolm Winters and Dr. Stephanie Simmons. The site says they could be back in Genova City to let the Winters know Holden is their son.

That would be awesome! I would love to see Holden further cemented into the show. Not sure why he’s gotten so much viewer hate; I think the character’s great and has more potential than we’ve seen. Oh yada yada… sure, he’s got secrets, works as a ‘yes’-man, over-uses his vesper game, killed a guy, and blah-dee-blah… but he’s ON A SOAP – of course he’s of questionable character! (And oh, yeah – did I say hot???) Anyway, I think the actor’s done a great job of being vaguely smarmy/charmy and just biding his time until…

Holden, please drive Claire to the airport and wave bye! Don’t offer an explanation just drive, drop and don’t look back.

I agree. Get a clue, Holden. She’s not that into you, you’re just a way to get revenge on Audra.

Cane left the longest most groveling voicemail in soap history. He seemed to be talking himself (and us) into seeing Phyllis as the brave heroine in this story.

Yes, Ali. On my high definition living room TV on the Friday show I noticed Cane’s high definition hair but I can’t think exactly how it was before. Is that Dippity-Do? But I am dating myself.

I’m not 100% caught up – or not 100% retaining, lol -on all details re: Cane’s current AI debacle… where is the child (forgot his name) that Cane had w/the pretty girl who died? (The one who got him drunk and orchestrated their one-time rendezvous…forgot her name, too.) Shouldn’t Victor be fake (or real, whatev he’s doing) kidnapping, that kid too? Maybe this has been addressed, and I’m out-of-the-loop?

Sam is the name of the child and I don’t think he’s ever been mentioned. It’s the same thing with the little boy Neil had with a woman that left town with the little boy. These children are never mentioned. It’s irritating for long time viewers.

Yes, Sam! Thank you! I seem to recall his mother had a pretty name. I’ve just decided in my head that Sam is living w/her family (if not in a Victor daycare-dungeon).

Yes, Juliette (wild guess for her name) probably has a sister that’s raising Sam! That will satisfy me for now.

Nate and Jack made the best decision once they got out from between Billy and Victoria’s argument. Get a drink at the bar….maybe two! I don’t think I can hear Claire hold herself as a prize for Holden coming clean a single time more! At least she was self aware enough to admit her own hypocrisy for judging Holden for coming to down as Damien, but Holden’s past is not her business. She is so obsessed with finding dirt on Audra so she can ruin her. Holden needs to tell Claire that he has said all he is going to… Read more »

I’d given up watching Y&R, but my son had it on while I was cleaning the kitchen yesterday. Not much has changed, apparently. So Cane is asking Daniel for help? And Holden is still thinking with his little head while Lily, Mattie, and Charlie are missing and possibly in danger? What the hell? Cane needs to put his thinking cap on. Is there someone who actually cares about Lily? Someone with resources? Someone Victor respects — or at least fears? Oh right… her brother. Has Cane even told Devon what Victor’s threat really means yet? My son says it sure… Read more »

I completely agree with the comment of why, in the world has Cane not told Devon about Victor’s threat of kidnapping Lily and The Twins.
It makes no real sense. Except to say that this is soap opera drama.

Maybe Devon is in on it, too? Or maybe Lily and Devon have their own secret plan? The more plans the merrier in this ‘Who Will Dominate Forever’ fiasco!

I rage-quit for two weeks after Cane folded to a sketchy photo. Caught the audio while doing dishes — my son still watches — here’s my third option fix: Lily and the twins are with Newman Security, told there’s an assassination threat. The guards think they’re protecting them. Victor used that setup to extort Cane. No kidnapping, just Victor lying to everyone differently. Again.

To keep myself sane I wrote yet another fan fic Thursday night based on it trying to keep the characters out of the electric chair. https://yr.jenuth.ca/7/ .

I keep hearing all the legitimate criticisms about Billy and every single comment is applicable to Victor. I am not defending Billy but, I take issue with lambasting him and Victor getting a free pass. I was especially disappointed and mad at Jack, which rarely happens for me. Jack heard his brother apologize to Nikki about her being collateral damage in a ruthless business takeover. Jack saw his brother graciously leave his office to give Nikki the dignity of a private goodbye. Humble actions that were not afforded to him when he had to vacate that office. Yet, Jack stood… Read more »

All true! But right or wrong, deep down, Jack simply feels superior to Billy. For many reasons… he’s older, he’s wiser (in his pov), and mostly he’s a John/Dina ‘prince’ – not a John/never-fully-accepted-Jill ‘offspring.’ I don’t think Jack sees his condescending viewpoint – in the same way he doesn’t see his I’d-drop-everything-for-Nikki mentality. He just is who he is. But I give the show credit through the years for consistently exploring that very complex sibling relationship/rivalry between Jack and Billy… one fraught w/ups and downs.

I absolutely agree! Y&R is excellent at exploring complicated family dynamics and reminding us all that every family is dysfunctional at times.
