I kept on laughing when Michael & Lauren saw a drunk Phyllis! Then it turned ugly when Phyllis started fighting the two of them.

And…Paramount+ uploads clips daily of cast members looking back at their favorite moments for the 50th anniversary. Looking back at the old clips, the sets were so much better and complex compared to today’s sets. Loved Paul & Cricket’s condo!

Phyllis is losing it for sure. Michael and Lauren weren’t able to help her either. She is going to team up with Stark to bring down Diane. She is obsessed
I agree about the sets were much better in past shows.. Let’s hope they can scrounge up a courtroom set for the trial of Devon, Lily and Jill

Did Y&R run out of loaves of bread and a blanket? Why were we not privy to seeing the new Teriah baby?

Because the baby will be much older than a newborn when and if we get to see her.

My Girl Phyllis is really struggling.
Just like the bulk of GC, Summer and Daniel have been performing mental gymnastics all week in order to pin all of their issues and mistakes on Phyllis. Dust off that crown Miss Phyllis, remind this town of what it really looks like when you clap back.

Diane looked stunning in the cabin on Friday. I really loved her outfit I hope though that she says no to Jack’s impromptu proposal. While I agree with Jack that they should just live their lives, it is still too soon to put a ring on Diane. I am uncertain that she is being fully honest. He should at least let her live in the house for a month before he starts talking wedding bells. However, I can see how he is so eager to lock her down because she is really really beautiful.

I want Devon to take Tucker‘s offer. I am so saddened to see how bad the Winters family has devolved. Lily truly broke my heart this week when she said she has no one. I hadn’t really thought about it that way before but it is true. I thought it was a low blow for Devon to bring up that Lily has her biological father too knowing that Malcolm is not at all involved in either of their lives. Not to mention Lily has had Neil from birth, until he passed away. I just feel like the storyline is really… Read more »

Someone predicted Diane’s murder at the beginning of the year, and now I’m thinking that was an excellent prediction. Although I’d prefer a murder attempt that leads to Diane not pressing charges against Phyllis given the impact on Summer. That would drive Phyllis off the deep end for sure!

I kinda wish they’d just go with Phyllis having a drinking problem. It would be great to see some solid dramatic acting from Michelle Stafford (like we did with Melissa Claire-Egan), rather than the regular Phyllis narcissistic histronics.

I think both things may be true. I can see an alcoholic Phyllis and a murdered Diane. I can see Jeremy Stark taken advantage of a drunken, vulnerable and lonely Phyllis and framing her for Diane’s demise.

Sherrita I think you are right! I think Stark will kill Diane and frame Phyllis for it.

I loved Lauren and Michael’s matching green outfits. Michael in his teal green sweater and Lauren in her sexy provocative teal green blouse. They looked very cute together.

Ali, I think Y&R wants you to do a poll on what Mariah and Tessa’s baby name should be. The fact that they haven’t named the baby yet tells me they want to get ideas from the viewers. It might be fun also to hear what names the chatters suggest. Having said that, I think the name Aria would be suitable. It is pretty sounding but more importantly is it’s meaning. The definition of Aria is a long accompanied song for a solo voice, typically one in an opera or oratorio. Tessa is a singer, so this name may be… Read more »

Audra is so condescending and disingenuine when she speaks to Elena. I admit it is fun to watch even though I hate to see Elena being treated this way. Audra treats Elena exactly the same way that Imani did. It appears Elena has to go through these supercilious conversations if she wants to be with Nate..lol,, It’s worth it! Elena must be convinced that all the women in GC are unfriendly cows who want her man.

Audra is a mean girl. She is selfish and not this really matters, but that blazer that she wore this week and last week really bugged me. I don’t think it’s a work appropriate blazer. It was so sparkly and shiny and overall distracting. I hope Elena realizes what Audra was trying to do however, Audra is it wrong that Victoria is after Elena’s man!

It’s interesting to me that Nick is ‘warning’ Sally about Adam. I already know (sigh) that many viewers think Nick’s being a deliberate bully, over-stepping and trying to manipulate because he hates Adam so much. I think, however, that Nick genuinely has concern and reservations about Adam’s character, so in his mind he’s doing the right thing. IN HIS MIND (no commentary here on right or wrong!) But I don’t think Nick’s intentions are malicious, intending to destroy Adam purely out of spite, jealousy, or some Alpha-male thing. Nick believes what he believes, and is acting accordingly.

But, what Nick believes, does not justify his constant trashing of Adam and not wanting Adam to be apart of his own baby’s journey. He is so wrong.

I agree Nick needs to just keep his mouth shut. Unless Adam is out right doing something that is going to hurt Sally or the baby he needs to just shut up because Adam is the baby’s father and he’s going to be in Sally‘s life no matter what so Nick needs to get used to it. They have a child together. As many babies mamas and kids that he has, Nick should know the drill by now. And possibly an unpopular opinion but I feel like if Nick is a good of a guy as he claims he would… Read more »

Lol, I figured the comment would bring more ‘rain’ on Nick (as I see other addtl.comments, also). Chatter feedback has been raining on Nick for some time. I always enjoy having a look at characters as if standing in his or her shoes. Everybody’s got ’em! (Even if they’re not always wearing them, lol.) I think YnR does a good job of developing layers in (most) characters and stories, leaving viewer judgement open for subjective discussion and opinions. Keeps it interesting!

I agree, Nick isn’t purposely being malicious, but I think he believes he is superior to Adam. It may be a coping mechanism because it’s so obvious that Sally does not love him the way she loves Nick. And I think that it’s that “knowing” and fear, that compelled Nick to video chat Sally the other night – he wanted to see if she was still out or if Adam was over. 🙂

I really enjoyed the scenes of Victoria and Nate being naughty and having make out sessions in the office. The pair definitely have a lot of chemistry. together. The forbidden attraction they have for one another makes them exciting to watch! I have wanted to see Nate and Victoria together ever since Nate was hired to be Victoria’s personal doctor and his character was being played by a different actor. It is fun to see Nate being a bad boy as his character was very lame when he first came to the show. I am also enjoying Victoria’s character when… Read more »

The previous actor was Brooks Darnell. He has a thriving career with Hallmark. Just like Hunter King.

I agree that Nate and Victoria make their betrayal of Elaina look sexy and intoxicating. I don’t think that they will stick to his word of being so in love with Elena that he will not ask on his attraction to Victoria. And although Victoria acts as though she does not want to be involved with someone who isn’t free to be with her, she has a track record of being the other woman or starting relationships with men who are already in a relationship. Remember, Ryan was with Nina, JT was with Colleen, and Abby‘s husband was with Abby… Read more »

Forget Tucker’s many pearls of wisdom – Nick said it all for me: “It is what is it.” Lol, I say that all the time! And I always use a nice shrug to cap it off.

Phyllis was rip roaring drunk. How Michelle Stafford was able to play being that bleary eyed drunk is amazing.

She did do a good job at looking the part but not sounding the part of being drunk. A drunk person doesn’t speak clearly, they slur their words.

Michelle Stafford is amazing as over the top, high strung, high pitched Phyllis. She must be exhausted after these scenes. Her drama does bring on the eye rolls. Christian LeBlanc’s expressions are just priceless. I love the way these two play off of each other.

Phyllis is breaking my heart. I understand her frustration and certainly identify with getting ugly when people pat on the head and say now, now, we mustn’t be ugly when you really want them to join in your fury at the world in general. When people hurt Phyllis she immediately wants to hurt right back. I am afraid for her and for those in her path. She will tell Jeremy Stark about the cabin and probably drive him there.

Does Phyllis know J&D are at the cabin? Yes, she can Uber him there! You do have to process Phyllis’ self indulgent pain, but I still would have to say I don’t have much sympathy.
But such wonderful tantrums and performances. But going round the bend this time may have far reaching consequences.

These scenes went on to play out in the most entertaining Phyllis way – Emmy! Emmy!, before the finale when she went on that frightening Diane must die rant. Michael was able to bellow at her, Diane is not the cause of all your problems””, but it didn’t register with she forced to cast he & Lauren Fenmore out as fair weather friends or no friends at all.

I considered Diane might die this very night with the classic, ‘Who done it?’, but Phyllis’ melt down is solely to justify her hooking up and aligning herself with Jeremy Stark. Who can save J&D from these enemies now? Jack is in the clouds thinking the new approach is to just turn the other cheek and ignore the Jeremy parade. Does he even have security on the cabin property or is he just going with Jeremy Stark would never know to look for us here? Clueless soapers.

Gary, that made me laugh out loud. She was so sincere in her voicemail, though so so drunk.
