Chelsea’s hair looked great!

Of course Sally is upset about being handed a stolen company. Billy has made her an accessory to a crime. He’s blinded by his own “ambition” and could not foresee that.

Next Week: Nick is addicted to Smarties.

I can’t judge Nick. I’m pretty sure I’ve been addicted to Smarties.

For the Women of Genoa City:

1. Victoria – Holding onto that info about Lily is gonna come back to bite you, and send Nate straight back to Audra

2. Lily – Cane is (thankfully) going to be so done with you when he learns you went along with this.

3. Claire – You’ve got some of Aunt Jordan in you after all, and Holden is about to find out and run…

BRAVO to:

4. Diane – for calling Jack out on the Nikki factor

5. Phyllis – for having the biggest balls in Genoa City – you go girl!

Unexpected surprises set the tone when the opening winter scene was without snow. Valentine’s Day is never the same for me, without Michael and Lauren, because they do romance the absolute best. Jack and Diane saved the day with an honorable mention and they both wore it best in couple wardrobe. They even matched the set. I loved Chelsea’s new do and it matched their playful celebration. Audra’s hair was a miss for me but, she was the wild lady in red for that combustion scene that ended in one of the best Touché moments. A fun day of surprises, even… Read more »

Do couples actually read cards from each other out loud to the other, lol? Yes, on soaps they do!

Soooo, Kyke kissed Audra today… it seemed Audra took an ‘oh yeah, he does want me’ vibe. I just don’t think he does. And I’m starting to want more for Audra than blindly thinking herself every man’s ultimate desire. One-upping suggestive banter gets old. And the physical? Well… Kyle’s done, Nate’s done, Tucker’s done, Noah’s done (back, but whatev). Did I miss anybody, lol,? (Holden was never a real thing.) So… now who? Billy and Sally are imploding, so… Billy and Audra? That would bring some soapy fireworks w/the ‘besties’…!

Kyle and Audra are always worth watching! Audra’s kind of wild hair looks great for unnerving Kyle! She can make him slightly uncomfortable and it’s fun to watch. I also love seeing Sienna and Noah. I’m in the minority but for me, they work as a couple.

Diane and Jack make my day each and every time they are in a scene together. Jack’s handsome face looking at her makes me forget about humdrum daily life for a moment. Then in contrast here comes Sally in a very non-valentine blue dress saying what’s all this…. She ruined my escape and then we go back to Adam and Chelsea so my valentine mood is restored. Adam leans back with a wry smile while Chelsea ramps up plans to fight for Newman! Perfect! Adam is continually amused by his multifaceted girlfriend! I love Adam!

Chelsea’s haircut is perfect! And her outfit was very cute. I loved how she hurried in to kiss Adam with a happy smile and news of her day out and about. Genuine moment for a couple in love.

Well, the dogging on Sienna+Noah due to their previous mother/son roles on another dope have generally been an Idrc for me…whatev, they’re actors! – who cares?… all pretend!! Now on YnR they’re lovers w/an age gap. Fibe by me; I’ve believed the relationship thus far (although… Idk what’s up w/Allie?) and thought their scenes today were quite touching – each playing expertly off the other. So… back to GC. And as mused on by Ali and others, there must be a story ahead re: the ‘random’ Sienna/Tessa connection… s/be interesting…

Yesssssssss! Red has officially pulled off the heist of a lifetime, in perfectly Phyllis fashion!! The Phoenix has risen and I am stoked to see her fly high……..for as long as possible. I hope that Phyllis squirrels away a Newman sized nest egg while she’s at the helm, and stashes it safely offshore in a Victor proof account/accounts. I want her future endeavors and life of luxury to be guaranteed and fully funded for herself and her posterity, regardless of weather or not she maintains control/ownership of Newman Enterprise. I know Red is riding high on her epic coup and… Read more »

Hope Phyllis squirreled away enough of Victor’s money to compensate her for his diabolical plan of kidnapping Jack on his honeymoon. Then, have Diane continue the honeymoon with Marco. Victor’s plan had an double-ick factor. No amount of money is enough.

Am I the only one surprised that Billy was in on the “let’s chloroform Cane” plan? I try to be sympathetic to everyone’s favorite perennial loser, but resorting to violence like this? I can’t go for it. Imagine explaining this to Johnny and Katie: “Here’s your legacy, kids… Chancellor Industries. I only needed to use chloroform on the owner to get it for you.” Never mind how Cane got it.

I don’t like it, Billy. You’ve lost my sympathy and support.

Diane spoke nothing but the truth about Nikki. Jack is getting roped back in to her orbit because her blonde wide eyed brave but vulnerable act works every time. Diane does not manipulate Jack and she has every right to be angry. She is absolutely right about the friendship fueling Victor’s rage. Jack, for whatever reason just can’t set a healthy boundary with Nikki.

Sorry, Diane, Jack loves you dearly, but Nikki is the love of his life… the one ‘that got away’ due to her love for that dang Victor. Jack forever pines for Nikki (even if he doesn’t realize and/or realize it), but you ARE the close 2nd love of his life!

That is implied to fit current plots,, but is Nikki truly the love of Jack’s life? This seems unclear to me. Laun from Vietnam was Jack’s one real true love and the proof is in the pudding found in their son, Keemo. Don’t sweat it Ali. Keemo IS on his way back! Maybe in 2027.

Nope, I’ll never agree. (His Laun relationship was too short-lived.) I will always maintain that Nikki is who he has and always will truly love. My story (ok, not actually mine) and I’m stickin’ to it…

While it’s absolutely true that Nikki and Jack don’t have healthy boundaries, and Diane should be angry, I disagree with Diane that Nikki’s affection for Jack is an “act.” The feelings between them are mutual… and unhealthy to their respective marriages.

Jack is Nikki’s back up plan. She literally said “what if he does something I can’t accept “ (not a direct quote) so she’s preparing the groundwork for Jack to catch her when her poor little heart is broken again by TGVN. I wish Nikki stood on her own and didn’t run to Jack. But then it wouldn’t be very soapy!

Totally her “back up plan.” But while she has come to have truly deep feelings for Jack, Victor is forever her one and only (even when he’s not, lol).

We know of Nikki’s ‘baby doll’ act that she is still able to call upon after all these years but i don’t know that its fair to assume her emotions aren’t genuine.” She comes by it naturally and we all fall into what we have. Close your mouth, Diane. They’re just friends. I’m not saying Diane is wrong in her viewpoint but sometimes mommy is harsh.

Ethan Ray Clark (Dominic) has a natural talent and his acting skills are exceptional for such a young guy. His performance got me thinking about daytime Emmy awards so, I did a little research. Fun facts: From 1985-2023, a young performer had a separate Emmy category for juvenile or outstanding younger actor/actress awards. After 2023, they had to compete as supporting lead or guest actor/actress. Since 2022, young performers have an alternative award from Children’s & Family Emmy Awards. I love teachable moments and I love this gifted kid even more!

He was great in his scenes w/Mariah in the final car ride. I’ve skipped most of their earlier scenes because I was just tired of the story. For all my griping about kid stories on soaps, Dom was good to watch, in large part due to his given actually believable dialogue he could naturally deliver. That’s generally my biggest kid story beef: forced and cheesy dialogue portrayed way too fervently by kids over-acting as they learn their craft.

Finally that kid got a clue & spoke up! The scenario Mariah had mapped out for him in another country was horrible! If I were Dom I would have thrown myself out of the car at the first stoplight to escape the simpering Mariah. Ugh.

I guess there is trouble in paradise for Jack and Diane and I am here for it. Diane hasn’t had a chance to get her claws out nearly as often for my liking since her return. They seemed to have really softened the character, and I do not like that one bit! I am ready to see her get back in the ring and Nikki might just be the person to bring out the real Diane!

Victoria threatening Billy and using the children as leverage to get back at him really is a new low for her but also true to character. Victoria is much like her father, more-so than even Nick and Adam. It wasn’t her finest moment but it did make sense to me that Victoria would pull something like this to feel like she always has to be in control.

But for Billy to now second guess his actions is completely ridiculous and stupid.
In life before someone take major actions that affect other people, they should way out the consequences of their actions and decide if they are willing to pay the price. If you cannot. Don’t do it.
Billy claims he knows Victoria, so surely he should have thought she would tell the children. He should have had a strategic plan to offset what she would do.
Just makes no sense.

As Phyllis threw out, I don’t think Victoria would actually trash the father to her children Johnny & Katie. Another Newman fake-out?
