So Y&R’s newly released storyline previewed on Friday is Jil’s unspeakable secret involving Billy hidden in the bowels of Chancellor! Has Billy’s contract been renewed so we can go on an endless hunt with him? Less Billy, but orange becomes you as it does all of us.
Where has Kyle gone in getting Patty to spill the beans on Victor? He needs to stop playing in the sandbox and make the call. Team up with someone with actual backbone. A former paramour, perhaps? Audra is available, you know—and she is loaded for bear against the Newmans! She brings a true hardball approach while the Abbots are mired in pickleball, having the precise brand of cold, calculating ambition he so desperately lacks. I wonder why Y&R decided to pull the rug out on developing a romance between Victoria and Nate. They were steadily growing in their relationship and enjoying each other’s company. Now we recently heard Victoria telling Claire that she and Nate are just friends. The only explanation I can think of is for Victoria to get together with Kyle, as Ali has mentioned before. The question is, when will it start to take place? I love the idea of Victoria and Kyle, and seeing Claire’s reaction to her mother hooking up with her ex-boyfriend!

What happened to Riza? I thought she was moving to Genoa City? I would like to maybe see Riza develop a crush on Noah and give Audra a run for her money while at the same time cause some turmoil for Noah and Sienna. She lives in that world of clubs and gambling, so this story would make sense. If not Noah, then Riza could certainly cause some trouble between Adam and Chelsea just as she did back in Vegas.
Noah, trying to be Sienna’s knight in shining armor was very unappealing. I didn’t like how he kept speaking for her when Matt Clark had gone to see her at the club. I understand how Noah would have felt, and Noah’s instinct to protect the woman he loves, but I found him to be rather annoying. He kept answering for Sienna, and even Matt told him to let Sienna talk. This what I said too. Noah regardless of what was ultimately discovered betrayed someone who was supposed to be a business partner and friend. The reason I was on Mitch/Matt side.
And Yes, Sienna not speaking for herself seems rather Handmaiden Tales. Truly do not understand that.
I am so ready for Josh Griffith to be completely removed from of all things Y&R. This whole situation with Matt and Phyllis is gross, full body ick inducing. Plus we’re seeing glimpses of the villain we have always known Matt Clark to be this week. I’m with Nick, I too think Matt is faking his reformation. I hate this pairing for my girl Phyllis, Red deserves so much better. In what universe should a rapist get to be reformed into a romantic lead…… Oh yeah, the Josh Griffith universe. Ashley was somewhat subtle when she encouraged Devon to talk to Abby. Devon needs someone, like Mrs. C., to wake him up to the truth his marriage is on shaky ground. Another reason to recast Jill so she can fill this role.
Whoa, Billy is all over the place. He did not get any resolution on his relationship with his mom. Instead, Billy feels Jill is hiding something “big” in Chancellor and only he can find it. Sounds pretty paranoid to me. Sally needs to have a heart-to-heart with Billy and suggest they go see a behavioral health specialist. Sally is being codependent by telling Billy she will not judge him and always support him. Billy needs support by giving him a little reality. I’m not a fan of Sally’s “Princess Leia” buns or her Annie Hall maternity suit and that corset looks very uncomfortable. Her multi colored nails were cool looking and a pretty manicure always reminds me of Catherine. Jeanne Cooper’s nails were natural and always polished with bold or bright colors.
Christian has to be 30 and he’s in boy’s camp.
I think Nick should go back to work. I don’t know if its right or wrong for the company but he needs a purpose to put his focus on over lounging in recovery. THAT languishing can get him into trouble. It seems very obvious to me. Put him back in the game.
My granny would tell Devon that he needs to get glad in the same shoes he got mad in or might just send him to cut a switch.
What is up with Devon? Its not properly identified. Cane should punch him and screw up his hand.
Sally’s maternity attire was very different than mine. I was all about comfort and Sally was here wearing what looked like a corset back to her dress/top?
I liked that color on Billy, what is it raw Sienna, dark orange? He sounds completely paranoid about this Chancellor secrete. As always making big leaps after only reading between the lines. I hope there is some mystery though, that might be a fun pursuit. Devon is coming in hot as hell! Machine gun basting Cane from the moment he saw him. I don’t know where he’s been but he did not deal with his issues. It’s hard to see Devon’s point of view. Billy looks like he got a darker shade tan or maybe the rust shirt make his skin tone look darker.
So Billy brings up the Chancellor pattern of secrets: the necklace and music box . . . if only Victoria would go after another reliquary
