I use the CBS app to watch Y&R later in the day. They didn’t run the Tuesday flashback episode either.

Thank you for the birthday shout out. I think I’d sell the business and create a nonprofit for after-school centers for children that provides full transportation from your school to your home and all siblings can participate so you don’t have to worry about babysitting and special needs children can get an opportunity to socialize they often miss because of bussing and other economic factors. Thanks for looking at my YouTube shorts and videos. I’ve been on a weight loss journey that I’m trying to more consistently document. I’m behind I. All my soaps this week but I hope to… Read more »

Remember when we used to see the glasses of tea with fruit in scene after scene that no one ever drank? Lucky the writers changed that; because this week Victor took such a big bite of chocolate cake he had to wash it down with two swigs of coffee! And I was waiting for Nick to say…are you going to eat the rest of that?

Do you know where Y and R women get their clothes?
Sharon is being cold and dismissive to Adam and lights up around Nick. What are the writers up to? It is for a reason.
I think the writers are also trying to make us tired of the Sally character. The constant freak out chatter. I owned an architectural firm and her job designing office space is given to interns. She was a big shot fashion designer, so this new business storyline is silly.

I’m just here to say Kyle Abbott is stupid! He can’t forgive Summer after all he’s done to her in the past. He coerced her into giving up a kidney to his wife, for goodness sakes! She can be glad to get rid of him!

Apparently giving up a body part does not necessarily clear a path to forgiveness and redemption. (Just ask Adam and his fans, lol. And the countless others in GC who have done the same throughout the years… but I can’t remember who.)

(Well, what I just posted below was in response to one of Sharod’s always insightful comments… but due to my usual lame navigation skills, the post ended up in this spot instead. So in context it probably makes no sesnse, lol.)

You are so correct in pointing out my contradictory statements! (I often don’t make sense to myself, so I guess I easily relate to the illogic on soaps, lol.) I happily flip-flop my opinions re: tv fantasy – as doing so has no actual effect on my real life whatsoever. Like you and many others, I have been a YnR viewer for decades. It makes me happy to watch. As anyone, I clearly note character and/or story ‘re-writes,’ but they just don’t bug me much – particularly as I don’t have the privilege to take them the direction I’d prefer.… Read more »

Tucker imitating Jack was a treat. Ashley actually shushed him then Jack literally went to Society and hollered the same thing Tucker was saying.

“Sparkly is my favorite color”. It’s mine too Audra and so is shiny.

It’s a great line, Tina and worth your addition of shiny as a favorite! I was relieved that Audra accepted the earrings. She’s not temperamental so far, except about keeping her private life private. Summer and Lola usually kept Kyle in the doghouse about something.

More Shick Please! I’m really excited at prospect of Adam and Nick working together, especially if we get the reunion of both Shick and Ally.

I could identify with Adam when he said it really wasn’t a whipped cream type of day!

And if you noticed. Adam didn’t really engage in conversation with Sharon. He kinda shut her down. Can’t really blame Adam after the way Sharon treated him at the cottage.

Is Kyle in love with Audra Charles? He talks so intimately and nicely with her. Were she a real woman over a witch she would not like to be used by him. She might put a hex on him. But the modern brilliant businesswoman is not a victim and she is using him just as he is using her. How, unclear to me now. I can only guess.

Seems like Kyle was over-compensating to ease his pain and outrage from Summer’s betrayal. “Anyone who has done nothing bad to me deserves my full-on consideration and benevolence, while my horrid, hurting-me wife will now get none of it” is how I imagine his thought process.

Ali—can you coach us regarding Audra’s question for Victor? She pointed out that he owns both Newman Media and McCall, so what is Victor’s angle since he knows Adam and Victoria are planning to go to battle against each other? Adam wants McCall to trim down to a media only business and take over Newman Media—Victoria plans to fight that with all her Newman Enterprises resources. How does that make sense? A cage match within the same corporate umbrella essentially? I’m confused. Audra asked a good question and got shut down.

Thanks Ellen, I wondered also but not unusual for me to get lost on plots.

Exactly. Audra as an astute business woman made a great inquiry. And when the person being asked, doesn’t have an appropriate answer, does just that. Ignore and Shut it down.

It would be better if those diamond earrings had big honkin’ long drops on them like from the Liz Taylor collection & Kyle sent the bill to Summer for the ultimate statement.

Rich people in GC find many ways to be unhappy.

Proving the old adage. Money doesn’t make you happy. Just gives you financial freedom to cause others misery.

I guess it’s better to be miserable, unhappy, and rich than to be miserable, unhappy, and poor? Lol.
