Nikki needs to MYOB in reguard to Diane. You’d think she’s be happy Diane is back in town to remind people she didn’t kill her!
What are all these Newmans going to be doing standing around working for Newman???
Nikki would not be the great Nicole whatever whatever etc. Newman if she could mhob. That is is simply not a character trait of hers. (Besides, what fun is that anyway? Lol.)
I think all of Genoa city is obsessed with Diane. Let her get herself in trouble if she is up to no good. Nikki should concentrate on Newman. Adam is going to bring them all down maybe even team up with Ashland
Amelia H. is terrific. HATE on Victoria all any one may (and ooooooh, wheeeeee- many do!!!), but he actress is effortlessly sucking everyone in and evoking uber-passionate reactions – both in GC AND the soap community. WHAT. a talent. (And incidentally, effortlessly independent of sex appeal she could turn on in a minute.) I think she’s been FANTASTIC playing the deliciously deceptive little rich girl who (at least her ego thinks) is no one’s fool (except unbeknownst to her- maybe Victor’s… or Ashland’s… or Adam’s…)
Amelia is doing a great job as Victoria. She really did surprise Ashland, he really thought she was on his side and loved him. But i was wrong, I thought Victor was involved with her plan but he wasn’t and he was so happy she did what he would have done. She is her father’s daughter. But Adam was bamboozled, the Newmans will never give him his due and he knows it. Watch out Newmans!
I only caught the tail-end of Courtney Hope’s tenure on BnB, but from what I’d seen, I think she is way more of an asset to YnR then she ever was to BnB. I’m loving Sally Spectra on YnR! Morrrre cowbell! Really hoping her story expands beyond boinking Adam. I’m loving the whole show right now (albeit I always do). Even though many chatters are infuriated w/’corporate’ stories, I enjoy them best- despite the clearly laughable plethora of random CEOs, COOs, and all-mighty unqualified ‘rulers of the world.’ BUT- I am mostly liking the ‘girl power’ forces starting to take… Read more »
I agree Sally has much more depth on Y&R than she had on B&B. I think she will be disappointed if Adam is back as CEO of Newman Media and she has to take back Chloe’s offer of COO. Unless Adam makes Sally co CEO. She is doing a great job so far without any experience. She has ambition and is creative ,but I think she should get back to designing. She was very good as a designer
I’m over all the podcasts talk. Chelsea’s now a podcast producer. Chelsea did make me chuckle with Billy. I couldn’t help but remember her, Nick, Phyliss and Billy all going away for the couples weekend that they said they would not do speak about. I wouldn’t be mad at Chelsea and Billy reboot. Lily deserves better. Dare I say bring Cain back ? I would love for Chelsea to end up with Jack and treat him well. She’s a combo of sneaky Phyliss and creative crafty Sally unfortunately she’s not a redhead.
I’m tired of all the podcasts too. Hopefully there won’t be 50 more! Billy and Chelsea, not sure ,but Chelsea and Jack what a great idea. I think they would be great together
I’m glad I got a chance to catch up after being on my birthday trip with my hubby. I loved the Monday episode with Allie and Noah, They were so cute. I wasn’t really feeling them at first but they are winning me over. I feel bad for Phyliss and Jack but I don’t think getting back together will fix things. I do hope Summer, Jack, Kyle, and Allie open their eyes about Diane she still has real mean girl energy.
So who is going to design at the new fashion house? Is Summer going to have to work with Sally again? Chelsea is just giving up fashion. I think Chelsea is rekindling feelings for Billy. Honestly, I would love for Billy and Lily to be over. Billy despite his protest is still in love with, on a short leash for Victoria. Lily deserves better,
I think Sally and Chloe may end up working at Marchetti with Summer. Especially if things change for Sally at Newman Media
I feel sorry for Adam. I feel like Nikki needs to encourage and embrace him like she does Abby. They do not give Adam any credit for having changed and helped them. Perhaps an unpopular opinion is that there is no reason that they couldn’t have Adam as COO and Nick and Victoria as co-CEOS. Let Nikki be an advisor like Victor or work for No Hope fundraising. I don’t want him to team up with Ashland though. Maybe Adam can team up with Victor somehow to get over whatever Ashland is planning for revenge. Then I think Victor would… Read more »
Does anyone else agree that Ashland looks younger and more fit than when he first came on the show. I definitely like him better without the beard and it is very visible that he has lost weight and also been working out. He looked more like Victoria’s father when he first took over the role of Ashland. It appears he has coloured his hair which makes him more attractive and looking more suitable to Victoria’s age. This makes me enjoy his character even more now, as I was missing the previous actor Richard Burgi. at first.
Yes! I’ve been noticing this for some time. There was a lot of chat early on re: Victoria’s ‘daddy issues’ in choosing an ‘older’ man. But the age difference never seemed extreme to me, particularly w/ the Robert Newman re-cast. Ashland (both #1 and #2) may well be older than Victoria – how much, Idk. (I suppose I could ‘google it,’ but I prefer my own soapy interpretation!) I look forward to seeing Imani go out to dinner with Nate and seeing the look on Nate’s face when he sees it will be just the two of them dining out. Imani will make up an excuse as to why the other party will not be joining them. I find this story line juicy and quite compelling. Nate has finally become interesting! If you recall, he was quite boring and just a pretty face.(sorry Ali) I am glad Y&R has given Nate much more of a personality. I am looking forward to Chelsea working with Billy. I think Chelsea and Billy are definitely headed for romance when this takes place. As much as I love Lily and Billy together, I would like to see sparks fly between the three of these characters. I think Y&R chose Billy to pair with Chelsea because he is not married to Lily. I believe Y&R thought about pairing Chelsea with Kyle which is why they had Kyle and Summer make Chelsea the job offer, but then changed their minds. Likely because Kyle is married. After what Billy said today to Adam. I will be jumping on the “not so fond of train”. I found it totally overkill and unnecessary on part of the writers, to incorporate this conversation into the story. Billy made me roll my eyes at him. I see that he in the Victoria is all knowing cult, even though Victor despises him. And Victoria on more than one occasion after she got with Ashland has eviscerated Billy verbally. It’ll be interesting to see if the new Sally Spectra will navigate towards Adam’s dark side. Will Sally continue to build her credibility, as someone to be taken seriously, in the business world or will she put her priorities second, and scheme with Adam to bring down the Newmans?
I want Sally to navigate both. Build up her own self worth and stand by her man Adam, to BRING THE NEWMANS DOWN.

I really like Adam and Sally as a couple. I sort of imagine them like — oh, God, this will date me and some/many of you may not even get the reference, but it’s the one I think of — the characters of Adam (Gordon Thomson) and Sammy Jo (Heather Locklear) from Dynasty waaaaaayyyyy back in the 80’s. The characters sadly were never paired up as a couple, despite my hope that they would be. Well, GC Buzz, you have dated yourself with Sammy Jo. Gordon Thomson was way too INTENSE for me. But I am respondng to you saying you can not deal with Adam being written as a “vengence seeker” yet again for the lack of Newman love. “Screw them” you say. Are the writers of Y&R having a joke at our expense? I’m sorry. I am not all about Corporate America. It seems that every character on this show now works in the business world and are either a CEO, CO-CEO, CFO or COO. The only people not in that world is Elena(Doctor), Sharon(Coffee Shop Owner) and Tessa(Singer). Is this a jab at the actors? Saying, look I am making you feel important, by giving you a title. Because they are certainly not paying them properly.
Oopsie. Forgot about Chance(The Genoa City Police Force).
I think this every single day! LOL! It’s ridiculous and, IMO, diminishes the perceived authority and power of the positions when the writers just make everyone a CEO, co-CEO, COO, or CFO. Like, what is Nate’s qualifications for his current position? What would Chloe’s qualifications be for her COO spot at Newman Media? SMH.

Oooo Baby! I’m hopeful that my girl Phyllis goes into full on scorched earth mode at this point. It is completely understandable that she has some long buried trauma and rage from Diane’s past dirty deeds surfacing and combusting. It is beyond me that her circle is judging and punishing her for not buying Diane’s reformed act, and for still hating her. Actually Phyllis has become friendly with Sharon. And she and Adam went into business together. Albeit brief to take out Victor.
Agreed. I like how Diane is being written, and I like how Phyllis is reacting. It’s real. I’m here for their continued rivalry. The fact that Phyllis is holding a grudge against Diane and not simply believing her story or just moving on is reminiscent of the grudge she still holds — rightfully so! — against Victor. What is very disappointing is Jack’s response. I am fine with him feeling persuaded that Diane has genuinely changed; he is free to believe it. I don’t think Jack really minds if Phyllis does not forgive Diane or have the same feelings he does about Diane. He realized Phyllis was progressing the relationship to mark her territory and to “stick it to Diane:. He definitely has a right to be upset by this, but at the same time he could show some sympathy towards Phyllis’s reaction. As Ali mentioned, Phyllis has stuck by Jack in the past and been by his side through thick and thin.
