Instead of going crazy for real Diane has figured everything out! But she must be at her lowest point, completely despondent and betrayed as Jack crashes through the bars to rescue her! What could go wrong? I love a romance rescue, but Jack is no hero as proved by his cohabitation with lady love, Patty Nice phone call, Kyle!
Harrison will probably be around for the summer when this storyline with Diane and Patty is finished. Hopefully soon. All the other kids should have scenes too especially Christian who hasn’t been around in years, wonder how old he is now

Are they graying Kyle’s hair like his mom’s? He has more gray than Jack. I can’t believe that Nate told Lilly everything about Nikk’s condition. HIPPA violations gone wild! I guess he isn’t her dr, but he should respect her privacy. Lilly doesn’t need to know this. He is straight up gossiping. Lilly is so pretty. Her eyes are like Jessica Rabbit in human form. Give Diane her Oscar! So glad they added her voice over thoughts. I was afraid she was buying what the “Good Dr” was selling. She knows Jack would never want to be with the Coo… Read more »

I thought Nikki’s blindness would be a long contemplative state of affairs in figuring out what to do since the doctor stressed the perilous nature of going under the knife. Now a brilliant beautiful new doctor is already on her way to Genoa City to rush Nikki into surgery. Will the surgery fail under her expertise? Where does this leave the story if the mass is removed from the optic nerve and Nikki is cured so soon? Will this sexy new doctor find love with Dr. Nathan Hastings as brilliant minds meet?
I wonder if the New York brilliant surgeon will have an issue, such as a hand cramp, and the good doctor Nate will step in. Thus, Nate will realize he can perform surgery again. Maybe this story is leading us to Nikki and Victor reuniting, and Y & R having their medical stories back.
I never thought of that (!) – the ‘hand cramp”, but clearly at this time the story plays into Nate’s longing to get back in the Dr. game. Cleaver supposition. Nikki has already gone blind on Friday but in previews a surgery has been performed so its still not hopeless. “We just don’t know” is the take on the operation as we all wait.
Nikki is a brave woman if she is just now getting scared. If I had crippling painful headaches and blurred vision for days I’d be inconsolable from the start. Induce the coma now! Sounds like the risk of Nikki’s surgery and the tumor is much more than just blindness. Left untreated, wouldn’t it kill her? Seeing Nikki’s family so worried for her is so sad. My heart broke to see Victor hugging Claire and start sobbing. He normally does not do that. Patty is terrible! She’s not even pretending that Diane is in treatment anymore. And Jack is a COMPLETE… Read more »
For reasons unexplainable, our resident Bobbsey Twins, Jack and Kyle, decided to map out their super-delicate, highly illegal secret plan in a crowded coffee shop rather than their own secure corporate office. Because why use a soundproof executive suite when you can project your felony intentions over a nitro cold brew? Kyle better not have hired off-duty Newman Security—oops, I mean the Keystone Cops—to watch over Larry’s house. If they’re on the payroll, Jack’s life insurance had better be completely paid up, and perhaps with a major top-up before Jack dons his amateur cat-burglar outfit. At least Diane is still… Read more »

I’m not going to lie, I’m disappointed and find the scenes with Jack and Patty creepy and disgusting and the Diane and pseudo doctor scenes ridiculously unbelievable. I’m over the kidnapping thing and ready to get Patty and her quack doctor back to the institution where they belong. Maybe the Scooby Doo Mystery Team can help solve the mystery. Ugh!

Is Diane planning to drug Dr. Larry’s drinks with the sleeping pills, if she can get her hands on some? Dr. Larry is trying to fill her head full of doubt. He must not have read any of the therapy books on his shelf. Because he would know a therapist does not lead clients into negative thoughts. Dr. Larry’s lost total credibility by announcing Jack has asked Patty to move in. Diane knows he would never do that, Run, Diane, run.
Maybe he and Harrison were chalking on the driveway, and Kyle had chalk on his hands when he brushed his fingers through his hair.

Oh, I was surprised that Claire told Victor everything. So fast. That’s good. I don’t need any dopy secret out in the air. Now I can better enjoy the story with everything out there. Nikki can tell Victor to get lost, I just don’t want any soap opera secret between them. This is contemporary life where we spill all.
Absolutely right Gary. Be in a specialist facility in Madison or Chicago by the time Victor’s “lone wolf” doctor arrives. This is more than complex surgery, it needs a whole team!
Let’s be honest, “Dr. Lawrence Markham” is far too stuffy a name for the mastermind of such an inept kidnap plot. From now on, he’s Larry—co-star of the Larry and Patty show. Rather than playing the amateur vigilante, Jack needs to tell Det. Burrow the details of Patty’s threats and Larry’s suspicious behaviour. Even if Burrow lacks absolute proof she is inside, he can initiate an aggressive “knock and talk” welfare check to see if Diane is there. Bars on the outside of a remote woodland home are an immediate red flag, giving Burrow the grounds to ask, “Can I… Read more »
Removing a pituitary macroadenoma (the mass causing Nikki’s blindness and headaches) is complex surgery with significant risks.
Happily, living in Wisconsin Nikki is close to UW Health (Madison): They host a dedicated Pituitary Tumor Clinic at the University Hospital.
It is a multi-system problem that requires a multi-disciplinary solution. Bringing in a lone surgeon with experience is the wrong approach. Instead you need an expert team. Move Nikki to Madison!

Does Phyllis know the Matt Clark story? Her empathy for him is preposterous. Even cheerleader Ali stops short over being in love with him because of the whining. “I did bad things that i would never do again and people don’t want to give me a chance, i get it, but…” Waaaa WAIL.Noah spelled it out pretty good. Nick should give himself a break. The medical care he got – the medication prescribed was not sufficient to control his pain. They wouldn’t refill him so he was forced to take matters into his own hands. Nick used uncharastic bad judgement… Read more »
Well Gary, I see your point! And I will add that Noah is becoming Newman-like when confronting Matt. He looked tough, talked tough, much like his grandpa. Nick is so pretty it’s hard to take him seriously as a big meanie.

Matt and Phyllis were great today. Phyllis checked her reflection in the knife at Athletic Club and Matt quietly said “you look great!” These two make the show so interesting with their line delivery, facial expressions and gestures!
I don’t like to admit such things but Diane’s kidnapping is getting pretty good! Moving along!

Jack only invited Patty in to get info on Diane, he still loves Diane, will never be with crazy Patty
I still think another kidnapping is a weak plot but, I admit her performance saved the day and was an unexpected and welcomed surprise.
GARY”S PHONE SEZ is ripe with “Another Kidnapping!” pans –
Was glad to see Diane figured out what is going on and has her wits about her
I’m tired of all the kidnappings let’s end this quickly with Jack saving Diane this week
Patty has Jack running like a scare rabbit. JRA
Is Harrison Locke Abbott gone for good? The way of so many…
No, he was on phone with Kyle this week, asking about snakes. Who with? Where? Shrug. Maybe in the basement.

What a forceful kiss it was. Patty should have been on her way to see a dentist, instead she was spying on Jack and Kyle at Crimson Lights.

Hmmm. Kyle with his Temple gray hair.

I wasn’t looking forward to a secret health crisis – so good for Claire “busybody” Newman.
