So, I saw this nudie photo of Michael Baldwin posted but I never saw the scene as 1/2 of Y&R got pre-empted two days in Los Angeles this week. I’m asking myself, ‘Where did this take place? Certainly Y&R is not going to give us Michael and Lauren’s house and these two seasoned marrieds are not going to be having s– behind a potted plant at a Crimson Lights? Yikes! With Victoria as Ashland’s new target, she’d better skedaddle back to GC ASAP. Wouldn’t it be lovely if she teamed up with Adam to ward off Ashland’s counter punch while Nick goes in for the the TKO. Let Victor watch bemused on the stands. Just for something different
There are rumors Ashland will try to kidnap his son and Diane will be the hero and stop him so hopefully the poor tyke will be guarded carefully
I don’t like Phyllis out in the cold all by herself. I’d rather Summer and her play the long game with Summer on the inside.

Bravo Victoria. I believe Victor was in on it. I don’t think Ashland is going to let being played go so easy. I see a new feud going. Additionally, I think Adam will be dangling which my prompt him to take Chloe, and Sally and be a fairy godfather of different fashion business. Or maybe Sally and Chloe will fulfill the gap that Chelsea leaves at Fenmores by becoming a designer for Summer and Kyle’s company.
Yes Victoria was awesome. Although I think Ashland really loves Victoria . but he really did her wrong and now he will pay for that. But he isn’t going to take this lying down he will get even one way or another. I do believe Victor and Victoria were planning this all along ,but no one else knew not even Nikki. He wasn’t surprised at all.

I like the idea of Chloe and Sally working together but what will happen when Adam is no longer CEO of Newman when Victoria gets back? They should form their own company and compete with Newman
This week there were so many great scenes, I loved the show each day! Thank you writers and actors! The scenes with Chelsea and Chloe were so realistic to me. Chelsea is a user and Chloe is They reviewed all the tough times and Chloe mentioned what a mess Chelsea put her in with the poisoning fiasco. Chloe couldn’t make Chelsea understand her point of view. Chelsea rolls from one mess to the next seemingly unscathed. Chloe wants out from under all of it.
I agree, Chelsea is headed for a fall. She is taking on too much. And Lauren and Summer will be sorry they both took Chelsea on.

Also liked that before Victor said “TNIACPITA” Nikki had muttered, “Thank God he’s gone…” referring to Billy. It just struck me as so funny.
Chloe teaming up with Sally to run Newman Media is ripe with potential. Chelsea would most likely spin all the way out, leaving a drama filled wake of destruction every step of the way. I’m here for it!

Now that Luan and Keemo connections are back on the front burner again, I’d love to see Jack Abbott actually cop to his veteran status and have some acknowledgement for those who serve both today and days past. I want to see it! The park scenes are nice especially when they show the sun is setting (like last week’s scene with Nick & Chelsea) but I want a pool set too. Can’t we have it all?
I’m way behind on the show, but regardless of what I’m pulling up on here, I think I am still Team Victoria! A little viper in your soul can sometimes serve you well, lol. I’d actually like to see her leave Ashland, Victor, and Adam in her dust!

I just wanted to say Happy Canada Day to all the Canadian chatters. Also, our lovely neighbours to the south will be celebrating the 4th of July in a few days. As I had previously mentioned wanting to see some new sets, it reminds me that I have been thinking it would be great to see the Dive Bar again now that summer has arrived! Fourth of July reminds me of the Abbott pool parties. I hope we get to see all the Abbotts around the pool this summer. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone ended up in the pool unintentionally.
Thank you Victoria. We watched some beautiful fireworks at the lake by our house. The firefighters put on a good show.
I used to enjoy the Abbott pool as well. I remember when Jill would suntan out there when Brad was the pool boy. Fun times. Pool parties would be fun to see at the Abbott house.
Happy Canada Day Dianna! I saw fireworks as well. It didn’t have a big finale but I still love fireworks no matter what. I was sad to miss them for 2 yrs. I don’t go to winter ones.

I hope Adam takes a page out of Victoria’s book. He knows he is being used as bait to lure Victoria back to Newman. He should use his temporary CEO power to transfer some juicy Newman Enterprises assets into his own name. Put that business savvy to good use Adam—please stop trying to impress your manipulative father!! He is not worth it. Your mother Hope loved you deeply—you need to be satisfied with that parental love and just get on with your life.

Adam has me on permanent retainer at my fake law firm. I will always represent his interests first! The only quotes of the week I get right are from scenes that Adam is in—at least my brain can focus on that much these days. I’m glad my friend Gary the Guest is on board with my advice for Adam. He needs to strike out on his own! Just do it already!
Adam is so charming & with Sally I just love their banter & their connection. I just eat it up! TBH I hate when all their makeout scenes are just 2 mins at the end. They seem to be doing that a lot lately. I keep tweeting that one of them needs a home because they aren’t just a couple at work. We only see at work scenes now. I want them to have dates at home & no work talk but that does seem to be their turn on. What about spending time with Connor.
I don’t think it is very realistic that Ashland would just give away the $500.000 000 that Victoria’s family gave to him. It was done so easily and all in one lump sum by etransfer that is laughable. You can’t transfer more than $2000.00 at banks. It would be more realistic if Victoria slowly took his money over a period of time. Ashland is one of the good guys and would have just given Victoria the remaining $250 for her family had she asked but then the petty viper would not have had the thrill of victory. DONE with the woman – until next time when she manipulates me with her hollow tears and fake regret. And oh how her crime family dotes on her!

I don’t know what today’s show will have but I’m still puzzled about Ashland trusting Victoria to the point he’s allowing her lawyer to set up the business AND he deposited money in account SHE set up. I really hope he’s the smart guy he’s supposed to be and has his guard up. Victoria has tells when she’s lying and he should be picking up on it. She literally twists herself into knots (hands twisted together, she twists her head side to side and perches on the edge of furniture).
Yes, to make it all clear to the audience Victoria has lost all subtlety but that poor duped Ashland is blinded by love. Hope for a turnaround where Ashland comes out on top. Victoria is a viper. Ashland’s fake cancer was crafted before he was in a relationship with her so why does she take it all so personally? The whole idea of having cancer making you more desirable to others like Victoria is full of holes anyway. No, sorry sueW, A Good Family is EVERYTHING. Which The Newmans are not. I really hate how this storyline flipped and turned Victoria back into Daddy’s LITTLE GIRL. A BIG THUMBS down to the Writers for destroying what could have been a great romance story for Ashland and Victoria. But instead makes it ALL about the power of Victor Newman and his family. Does Eric Braden have it in his contract that Victor must always win? I am sorry you are disappointed. No fun to watch a show you find disheartening :(( I for one buy into the all-powerful Victor illusion as part of what makes the crazy heart of the crazy show beat. I love to hate that Victor always wins, and I can boo and hiss to my heart’s content w/no real harm. I get a kick out of the silly villianry that goes on in soaps and actually like what YnR is doing regardless of awards and such. And I definitely respect all other viewers h.o.s!! There is a character and family like the Newmans on every soap but it would be refreshing for Victor not to win every time

ME TOO!!!! The only good thing that can come from Victoria betraying Ashland and Victor disrespecting Adam, is that both men team up to take them down. If this does not happen, I will be making a visit to The Grove at the Y&R Studios.
