Well……..if we can’t have a Phyllis and Lauren girls weekend in Vegas, complete with a gloriously campy set…………I would relish the chance to see Miss Gloria go on the Vegas trip with Lauren instead. A fan can dream.

Jamie, let’s instead put Gloria in to Dianna’s trip idea w/Esther and Traci! Omg, what a ‘turn up’ trio that’d be! Lauren’s wild-child ways are a thing of the long past… and fun-girl Phyllis is just out of her mind at the minute (and not in a fun, party-girl way). But Gloria, Esther, and Traci?? Yowwww-za!

Could the Y&R budget afford some neon signs and slot machines? They would have to fire half of the production crew to build that set lol

I saw the one with Camryn Grimes and Bryton James, on Michael’s Channel. He did one with Melissa too. It didn’t see it. But it seems wrong, that he got to do one with his current love interest and former love interest. But Camryn didn’t get to do an interview with her Wife.
This show is Speaking Volumes to me everyday.

I was not expecting that. Don’t like the new hairstyle of his though! The Steffy & Finn scenes in that episode were so spicy. I have the creepy music they use in Sheila scenes & weird close ups/camera angles.

It was so insanely ridiculous, all I could do was burst out laughing! And here I had been gearing up for some wacky, voodoo sword-necklace poisoning story. Instead its a wacky, wanna-be G-men hunks story. Too funny! Should be a great showdown whenever Sheila gets trapped – again.

It was a great moment. I hope it forces Sheila to go back to Y &R for awhile. Deacon could be her wingman.

I haven’t watched B&B for months, I only watch from time to time and I follow the storyline by reading spoilers and articles. It was such great timing that I watched it on the day of the cliffhanger! I was shocked!

As I am on March Break this week ( Spring Break in the U.S) it got me thinking it would be fun if Y&R incorporated that on the show. They could show some of the characters going on vacation somewhere. We could see Noah and Ali take a vacation at a resort as we have not seen them in a while or better yet Traci and Ester decide to take a short singles trip together to meet some hot men. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Chance ask Sharon to go away with him on a little trip away from Genoa… Read more »

Girls trip!!! With Traci and Esther – yes!!! Parrr-ty! Let’s see them ‘tear up’ some town! Sharon and Chance? Sure! Let’s see them plunk their gorgeous selves somewhere beachy and romantic! (I’ve already decided to buy into them pairing up just so they can get it over with for her to FINALLY reunite w/Nick, lol.) Allie and Noah? Well… I wish them to have a very happy trip…off-screen.

Too bad Phyllis didn’t jump at the chance for a girls trip to Vegas with Lauren. It would have been fun to see them hitting the strip. For an added bonus, Michael could surprised them with tickets to a Danny Romalotti show. Maybe Danny would help Phyllis realize it is a bad idea to aid Jeremy Stark.

In TV news, the March 19 issue of TV Weekly has Eric Braeden and Melody Thomas Scott on the cover celebrating Y&R’s 50th. She is looking lovely in a blue sequined gown. And for Cricket fans, tune in to Lifetime Movie Network on Sun. March 26 where 3 back-to-back movies will air starring Lauralee Bell. 2p EST “Nightmare Tenant”; 4p EST “Mistress Hunter”; 6p EST “Their Killer Affair”. (not a plug, i’m just a gal who likes to plan my viewing by reading the tv guide)

I enjoyed Sally’s dream sequence where we got to see her true feelings. I just wanted it to last longer…dang it Nick with your banging on the door and threatening to call the building superintendant to break down the door. Apparently Sally is supposed to be at his beckon call. That escalated quickly!

Can you imagine banging on someone’s hotel room door like that, yelling and threatening to call security??? I know we are supposed to think it’s marvelous because he’s concerned about her well being but YIKES! Doesn’t he carry a cell phone??? Take it down about 100 notches Nick. Pregnant women don’t need that level of freak out in their lives. And Sally’s “greeting” was weird—jumping your bones? Okay, you two are like a couple of soap opera characters…

NObody needs that level of freak out, lol! But I don’t think Nick’s actions were designed by the writers to be seen as marvelous. It seems viewer consensus is that the show is heading to a Sally/Adam reunion, and if so, ‘BOO, NICK’ viewers are just plain ol’ putty in the writers’ hands w/every deliberately crafted act/word spurring viewer reaction toward that goal. ‘Method to writers’ madness’ and all that.

But everybody bangs on those hotel room doors! It’s not just Nick. BANG BANG BANG It’s me—Nick or Adam or Chloe or whoever. OPEN UP THIS INSTANT!!!! Ever since people have started living in hotel rooms people have been banging on doors instead of calling or texting or lightly tapping or hey, waiting downstairs. It’s so rude.

I wish we could go back to more home scenes, like the cabin or Lilys old place with Cane. I like seeing the mansions and all, & I get why they did it, but it has gotten old. This could be a good poll question. What is your favorite Y & R home. I’d be shocked if anyone said the Grand Phoenix hotel rooms.

Maybe they could’ve hugged. Imagine what would have happened if it was Adam at the door after Sally’s dream instead of Nick. Sparks could have flew!

I was glad to see that Nate turned down Victoria. That was definitely a twist I didn’t see coming, as Nate had told NIck that he was going to spend the night at the hotel. As much as I love seeing Nate and Victoria fooling around, I felt the two of them jumping into bed together would have been to soon. I think Nate and Victoria have a lot of chemistry together, but right now I am enjoying the gradual build up of Nate and Victoria’s growing attraction for one another without any sex. I enjoy the stolen moments of… Read more »

The “cat will be out of the bag “ soon. Too many people are catching on to Victoria and Nate’s longing looks. Audra, Elena and even Nick have figured it out. Nate’s putting himself in a precarious position. Too bad Nate didn’t hear Nick call Victoria “heartless”. Once the romance is over, Victoria will find a way to push Nate out the door.

Abby came all the way downstairs in Devon’s shirt before she realized her dad was there. That was not realistic, as Abby would have heard Devon talking to her dad when she came out of the bedroom or as she was coming down the stairs. If it happened this way, we would not have had the scene of Abby being embarrassed in front of her father. It definitely was an awkward moment for both Abby and Victor.

So I was just spinning my wheels before, but now I definiately think sexual harrassment is where Y&R is going with Nate & Victoria. This would be a fantastic story and one more reason to invest in putting that courtroom set back up. Victoria, the world’s most powerful businesswoman, her reputation tarnished with the nasty alligations which would need to be proven with a loss for her in court. Amelia is a fantastic actress of underplay and could knock this out of the park with Nathan the absolute perfect person to be sexually harassed. Given the nature of the actors… Read more »

I was surprised when Elena came right out with gaslighting. While it isn’t an accusation to make lightly, her instincts were correct and she is very self aware. She remembers how their relationship began and where it currently stands. Way to go Elena.

When will Adam & Sally reunite? Will it be for Y&R’s 50th, somewhere down the line with this pregnancy or miscarriage or just plain many years from now?

GARY

Should there be a miscarriage might the point be how these three characters of Adam, Sally & Nick finally grow to learn to come together in peace amidst a difficult decision whereupon all are devastated? I supposed this is already assumed but they could make something profound about it whereupon Sally keeps her leather pants figure.

It’s hard to imagine this dreadful Adam-Sally-Nick triangle dragging on for the long term. Adam actually said something to Nick about wanting to build a legacy for his “two” children. TWO children???Cool, let’s just pretend Nick isn’t raising Adam’s 3rd biological child forevermore? The whole situation is just too claustrophobic for me. I hope there is an end game for it.

Can’t speak to Sharod’s reference, but imho, daytime soaps’ days are surely numbered. At least on network TV. The daily soap grind (oops, I mean ‘genre’) doesn’t much attract new viewers anymore… not enough ‘realism,’ special effects, action, skin, music, quick pacing, etc. etc. to capture long-term viewer attentions. Too much other content now available 24/7. I don’t think viewer numbers will justify soaps continuing to air for much longer. I hope I am wrong (I often am!) and that YnR will air for many years to come. But I doubt it. (Cue sad face.)

I would hate to agree here, but it’s true. It is so sad because when I mention that I watch Y&R to anyone, I get the first response of, “is that still on?” But then the next comments are, I used to watch that with my grandmother, or my mom always had that on. Then they always ask me, “Is Victor still on there?” Such a legacy. I guess it’s so hard for any new viewers to start watching because there is soooo much history with the characters. It takes so long to figure out who is related to whom… Read more »

And to your point about The Waltons, well written and great acting. I didn’t appreciate it at the time how talented the cast was. I doubt the slow pace and gentle morals to the story would hold an audience today. Even at the time, many people considered it “hokey” and that’s a throwback word for sure!

Devon is becoming a Victor clone. He feels entitled because of his wealth, he thinks he is right about everything and other people “leave him no choice”, he says he’s doing everything for his family—which apparently he defines as Neil’s memory and Dominic. It’s all a bunch of excuses to do whatever he wants to do and roll over everyone else. Abby is used to it—Devon is a lot like Daddy.

I guess since jG has decided that Sally doesn’t have any friends except for Adam hating Chloe so Sally has to dream about having a non-existent friendship with Summer, brushing her hair, talking boys.
