omg…I am still behind on the episodes so I haven’t been able to comment on here. I see I have Cricket and Danny’s wedding to look forward to! I miss being a part of the chat as I have been so for a long time I am trying to catch up. I still listen to you Ali and all of the chatters. I wanted to add one comment that i think will still apply. I find it funny everytime Victor says the word “program”, he pronounces it ‘progrum”. lol. I also wanted to add that I am really enjoying the… Read more »

Phyllis and Cane are HOT! And I’m actually rooting for a softer, romantic connection to grow as well. A slow burn, as they called it. My ideal storyline would be if Cane gets back together with Lily, because she wants it. But then, he very quickly realizes that Phyllis is the woman he lives and he DUMPS Lily on her pretty face.

HAD to jump ahead my unseen episodes to watch today’s! And Woo Hoo! – it did NOT disappoint. It was PERFECTION through and through – from both Gina’s and Nina’s returns, to Chris and Danny’s oh so predictably cheesy vows, lol. This episode was a real treat for long-time and loyal viewers… looking forward now to the reception!
My ‘NOT Fashionista’ notes from the wedding… CHRISTINE: a forgettable bridal look, but who really cares after her ‘best outfit of the day’ pre-ceremony lingerie, lol??? LAUREN: Perfection. (But way past time to calm down the over-done hair game.) ABBY: Effortlessly gorgeous as always. And now… TRACI, ESTHER, and DIANE: The 3 Stooges?? Cheesy, sequined garishness… seriously, Ladies, what gives???? Worth noting however, was Esther’s soft and pretty hair styling. Actually all 3 gals were really quite beautiful today – from the neck up. More to follow at the reception…
Well put, Naomi! I loved all the sequined gowns; and I love Von Maur!

The scenes in Crimson Lights on Friday between Phyllis and Cane seem to show that their “newfound friendship” seems to be heating up! My vote would be “full steam ahead”!

Loved it when Phyllis walked up the Athletic Club stairs, ripped a flower from the staircase garland and threw it at Daniel!! She threw it so hard; you could hear it hit his jacket! That is more of her perfect comedic timing!!
That bratty little touch – throwing that flower really let me understand how Phyllis felt. She was excluded, hurt and was having problems channeling her emotions. When Cane made her talk about her feelings for Danny her eyes said it all.

Could Daniel be any “more handsome”? No, he definitely could not!!
All the dresses at the wedding were beautiful! And especially Esther’s dress and purse with fringe! And loved the reveal by Esther that she sent the mums to Christine! Here’s hoping Nina gets a chance to tell Christine it wasn’t Phyllis!

Danny saying Phyllis just loves too hard and doesn’t know what to do with it is a perfect summation for her. And how gracious of Danny to say this instead of bashing her to Daniel. It’s truly a miracle that Danny can be kind and forgiving towards Phyllis.
Add to this my favorite Line so far Danny telling Michael “I tied my own tie”. Christine looked absolutely beautiful and Michael’s reaction to seeing Christine was very touching. Fun little twist that Esther sent those flowers. Phyllis possibly was innocent although I wouldn’t be shocked if somehow Phyllis mentioned mums as a good option for Esther’s flower arrangement.

I loved seeing all the people come back to town for the wedding! That was a wonderful treat. It was nice to see Amy all dressed up, and it was great to finally see her and her good friend Traci in the same room! They looked great. Don’t forget, Daniel is not Danny’s biological son. Phyllis had a one night stand with a guy named Brian Hamilton and got pregnant. She lied to Danny about the paternity and he begrudgingly married her, leaving Cricket in the dust. Later when a paternity test was done, Phyllis broke into the clinic and… Read more »
What a great wedding. How perfect to have Gina there for Danny. Wonder if she will sing at the reception. Although, Gina says she doesn’t sing anymore. I loved seeing Nina, Amy and Traci together. Amy loved radiant. Her dress and hair were amazing. Apparently, she is a karaoke queen. Maybe she too will sing at the reception. The stars of the show did not disappoint. Danny and Christine looked so happy and sentimental. What a treat for Y&R fans.
Isn’t the #1 rule for wedding invites: “keep your friends close, and your enemies closer”? A sensible bride would have Phyllis duct-taped in a corner closet.
And just saying: Detective Joe Friday [Burrow?] sharing drinks at the Shadow Room owned by two targets of a drug trafficking sting may not be the ideal venue to come clean to Nick while introducing the undercover Detective Annie. A more poorly planned scenario is difficult to imagine.
I thought the same thing about the detectives being at the Shadow Room. But the only other LA sets they have are the hospital, the hotel room, and the hotel rooftop restaurant. Since the hotel had the fire alarm going off and the hospital was completely pointless, that’s all they had left. The probably could have thrown up a brick wall and cafe tables and met at an outdoor cafe though.

Lucas Adam’s who plays Noah said in an interview today that his Noah is going to be a bad boy! That should be interesting.
I had a great time at Danny & Cricket’s wedding,, but Tuesday we will be thrust back into utter darkness.
I am bringing a flashlight.

The sequined gowns are a Midwest thing. We buy what’s available at Von Maur in the mother of the bride section.

A couple of recent anomalies.
