One way to make Stephanie and Nate interesting is if Elena is brought back.
Kyle and Victoria are giving me something to look forward to! Jack and Diane are so cute together and Diane is looking beautiful in her casual wardrobe. Marie may not come back to rehab after her ride downtown for questioning. She might keep reliving Big Lars falling backwards in slow motion and she will need something to “take the edge off”. Better lose Marie’s number, Nick!
As I’ve been recently bingeing to catch up from a crazy summer (both personally and in GC, lol) this observation is delayed, but CLEARLY there’s recently been new make-up protocols/artists for YnR – what’s w/all the fake eyelashes now regularly enhancing so many GC gals?? Not that the looks have been unappealing, lol, but certainly newly apparent the past number of weeks…! (Yikes, Ali may well have mentioned this already:; I’m still catching up on Chats.)
A few more catch-up thoughts: Billy Flynn is AWESOME. Phyllis and Matt are weird together… Idk if I’m totally buying them. Nate and Stephanie are boring. WHERE was the Mariah/Tessa reunion and the Abby/Devon re-connection scene?? And… Lauren Koslow was GREAT – (as well was the actor playing Dr. Markham, lol.)
Random thoughts for today….Victoria’s lacy bra and pantie set was so very pretty and she and Phyllis could still win a bikini competition. Phyllis wears orange better than anyone I know. Since Kyle revealed his greying temples, I definitely noticed that Jack and Diane have decided to embrace their platinum roots as well. I’m not sure if it was a strange shadow or Diane has her dirty feet on the bedspread. My kindergarten teacher self cracked up over finger puppet restrictions.
I have been away for the past couple weeks, but still watching Y&R. I got not great news about my dad’s health that came out of left field and it has been a very hard couple weeks and a health battle ahead, but trying to stay positive. But I find Y&R and this group of amazing chatters is a great way to escape from the moments of life that are not the greatest, so thank you Ali for this place and Y&R for just letting me focus in on fictional drama. Marie shouldn’t need a lawyer. She explained what happened and the cops have no choice but to take her at her word. No weapon. However improvable, what happened happened.

Addicted or not, Nick is just a sucker for a pretty face, or well… any female face – esp. one that puts two sentences together to dazzle him w/her brilliance, lol. But I do like Marie and think she’d be a welcome addition to the sometimes – how shall I say? – vapid females in GC. (Oopsie, I meant savvy businesswomen, lol.) And on another note, Marie kinda reminds me of Cassie on This is Us… iykyk…
Vivica A, Fox arriving with take-out is the last straw…
No, just no. Phyllis and Matt do not mess with Sharon. Above all, do not kidnap her. So many things could go wrong. Plus, it’s the easy way to try to sway others into thinking you have changed. Why not earn it the hard way with good deeds? Start with buying more sugar for the rehab Nick and a Marie are living at. Marie says you can’t have enough sugar in your coffee.
