Fellow Chatters, we all know Cane enlisted Holden with getting information about certain people in Genoa City. But how could that information be helpful to Cane after what we are now finding out about Cane’s plans after Wednesday’s show?
With all the excellent scenes today, my favorite was the opening sequence of a song in the park. With or without romance, I want to see more of these sing along moments. Did anyone else notice that Mariah was sitting on a different bench? Is this new, am I having a senior moment or in need of a trip to the eye doctor?
I’m weary of the launch talk! Audra’s launch, Sally’s launch, we all want the launch launched!!

After weeks of feeling fairly ho-hum about the Y&R storylines, in one episode Mariah and Tessa had me captivated. These 2 are such excellent actresses and scene partners. PLEASE Y&R give us more of them and let’s find Daniel someone else!
So many scenes today (Tuesday) were really, really good. Phyllis and Nick broke my heart. I am sad for Kyle and annoyed with Claire. Mariah returns, tells Tessa she needs to go away for more intense therapy, and Tessa runs a hand through her hair in total frustration. You and me both, Tessa!!!
When Tessa asks how long she will to be away for “more intense therapy”, Mariah should trust Tessa with the truth: “8-10 years with good behaviour.”
Hahaha! Best comment of the week.

Well, is the old guy a dead man walking and making her life miserable? If he didn’t have it on video and go to the police then it’s just a date that ended badly! We’ve all been there!

Is it ok to say I don’t like Tessa’s hair? I think the color needs a refresh or something. Love her, but her dresser needs to get in there. Tessa and Daniel are ready for their open mic night at the Bayou (yes, that’s Nikki’s strip club, I didn’t know of another GC venue) Nick and Phyllis looking out over Chancellor Park was a beautiful picture. What is she up to now?
A lot of running around in the background of other people’s intimate scenes in the last couple of days. High drama, but I’m thinking, ‘Will you look at the back of Esther’s tye-dye shirt…”
And she did it on Wed. too in another shirt. From way back when Kate Linder likes to steal a scene.
BIRTHDAY TRIVIA: Esther was originally hired for one day (“Dinner is served”), but she started doing so much stick when the camera rolled, instead of firing her they brought her back for an encore. And the rest, dear Chats, is history.
Was Esther serving ham for dinner?

Love the fact that Claire has so much self respect and self confidence that she is able to tell everyone that she deserves honesty and to be told the truth! Loving the sweet conversation with Victor, “Gran pah”, proving she really is a “chip off the old block”.
They have really chosen to write her as a strong, stable, but vulnerable young woman over keying in to the melodrama of her past. She is out there as a working Newman and inspiration for the audience, for now. Lots ahead, but they will never take her completely over the edge to where she can not come back as she is needed as next generation Newman. A really great cast.
