I VOTED TRUE LOVE. They both may have a fling here and there but I feel they will find their way back to each other. Adam and Sharon are done and Chelsea is not in the picture so Adam is “open for business.” Sally may have a brief relationship with Nick that won’t last, thus fueling Adam’s desire to get back with Sally……..Nick & Sharon return!

I voted not true love. I don’t know how anyone could treat someone they love the way Adam did, even if his intentions were good. The way he went about trying to get Sally what he thought was best for her was very harsh. Having said that, when Adam woke up and saw Sally in his hotel room, I thought he was imagining it. When I realized it was real, I thought I was watching a Lifetime movie for a moment. It was a bit stalkerish of Sally to let herself into the room and just sit on the couch… Read more »
I agree, and I voted the same. (Thought I posted all this before, so apologies if I’m repeating…) Anyway, I love your ‘Lifetime movie’ analogy: they’re about the only thing cheesier than soaps! I did like Sally and Adam together, but the more their story plays out, the more unhealthy their botched relationship seems to have been. Both of those ‘great catches’ need to work on themselves before they can be a great partner to anyone. Adam’s poorly-executed martyr play just hilights how caught up in his own head he actually is, and Sally just racked up another backfire from… Read more »

Yes true love! They are my absolute favourite right now & in years. They’re fiery, supportive, honest & have a rocker chic vibe (noticeable in their lines & clothing). Y&R has to know they have gold here with Adam & Sally as well as Mark & Courtney. I don’t like how the writers are doing this breakup but the acting is great. I can’t believe how mean Adam is being. Its really leaving a bad taste in my mouth. So much so that I watch one of their cute scenes after to cheer me up. They look so in love.… Read more »

I would like to see true love here, but I voted fading romance because I think the writers want to something retro with Adam’s character. Chelsea? Sharon? Is Sage alive?

It is true love but from a dysfunctional, selfish brat who doesn’t know how to be in a loving relationship. This has been very harsh. It was bad enough what he told Sally, but to turn to Sharon and point out how pathetic and desperate Sally was acting after he had blindsided her with this break up was beyond appalling, whether it was a supposedly noble cause or not. There better be plenty of groveling before she even thinks of taking him back.

Well, its a true love of sorts but I have no patience with Y&R taking the easy way out of having to write relationship scenes for them so they can activate the whole Essense Of Soap Opera self sacrifice for love thing when Sally herself doesn’t want a seperation in order to keep her job. Spider is always so stuborn, never getting it, sticking to his story, just playing his hand at the Vegas casino tables. I feel fed up and the pathos has hardly begun. Call me when you two are ready to get back together. Before he savagely… Read more »
Spectra is far too emotionally dramatic for Nick. He would be out of her league. The good time Charlie needs a game playing sexually playful woman like the one he had, Phyllis, who he knows how to control and she knows how to control him. Nick is not responsible for the loss of that relationship and needs to get it back. The audience was perfectly content with it and Y&R needs to get with the (old) program.
I like Sally and Adam together and think it’s true love. They are perfect for each other. Adam has been horrible to Sally but you can see in his face how much it pains him to act this way. They may get involved with other people like Sharon and Nick but won’t be the same, and it won’t last, eventually Sally & Adam will get back together. They love each other.
I don’t think anybody is as emotionally dramatic as Phyllis! While Sally may be more anxious than she projects, she seems to maintain ‘calm, cool, and collected’ much better than ‘Anything-Sets-Her-Off’ Phyllis. I didn’t mind the Nick/Phyllis break-up. It does seem Nick is over it, and I’m sure Sally (or any a number of others) could fit the bill of a ‘sexually playful woman’ who’d be quite happy to ‘game-play’ w/Nick, lol. (Video-games, of course…)
