He’s gorgeous, dark and brooding, but a FULL decade, maybe two, TOP YOUNG!!

I really like the new Adam. He has a cool vibe and I am sure he studied Justin Hartley and Michael Muhney’s version of Adam as he seems to mimic some of their characteristics.

I voted thumbs up but wished there was a C. category of “wait and see” If it was 2010 when I started watching the show again, I would say he is a good choice for the role of Adam. However, several years later it feels very strange to hear Sharon say “this happened long time ago” when this actor would have been in school. He would have been perfect for an embittered Noah returning more world weary and having talks with his mother Sharon. I just watched a Lifetime Movie “Double Mommy” where co-starred with the actress who played Tessa’s… Read more »

I voted thumbs down. It’s not just his age that bothers me, but I’m not “wowed” by his acting. Maybe he will grow on me, but as of now I think he’s a miscast.

I like the actor playing Adam. Probably because I only started watching Y&R for 2 years now, so I had no attachment to the old Adam. Yes. I am definitely feeling this actor in this role. Whoot-whoot!

As a long time viewer, I don’t like rewriting history. Adam is a key character, and tossing newAdam into a newAge category doesn’t fit, in my opinion. This actor appears younger then the actor who plays Noah – oh, he actually IS.

I don’t want to say if I lke the new Adam or I don’t like the new Adam and his particulars, but I can see how he has gotten cast. Adam is a dark character and this actor seems to have an – even dramatic presence. Eric Braden’s interview has him stating, “all the Adams’ have been well cast”, including this one. Who is the Chatter who made the great comment on liking both MM and JH, but ultimately had to see them as two Adams, over two actors playing one role? Adam & Summer, because this actor looks so… Read more »

I voted thumbs up because I’m excited by having him back, and back at an age closer to his real age on the show (born 1995). I like the possibilities. I’m super excited.

I gave a thumbs down….. I want to give this actor a chance and I understand it is hard to come in and be like Michael Mooney or Justin Hartley, but based off first week I am just not vibing or feeling excited about this new Adam. I really loved Michael Mooney’s Adam and was nervous when they recast, but right off the bat I loved Justin Hartley portrayal of Adam. I am not feeling that way about this new actor. I am not saying he is a bad actor but he is just not a Adam I am as… Read more »

He’s too young! IRL, the actor is younger than the actor that plays Sharon’s son, Noah!

I’m sure the actor is a very fine person and is skilled in his profession. Too young for the part though.

This is why I voted no. It is a generational mis-cast. He doesn’t look weathered by his past

In our YR show history Adam was born in 1995 and Noah was born in 1997. So actually we are okay with the ages now being so close. I am along for the ride on this story, I’m easy LOL…I’m not going to get too in the weeds on how for example he had such a deep affair with Sharon LOL

I see your point, but they’ve never cast him at his real age so it’s hard for us to believe that he went through stuff that his older predecessors went through. And harder for us to buy the chemistry he and Sharon are supposed to have. If they want to pair him with the younger set, I don’t know who he would be paired with. Abby is his sister, Mariah is kinda a pseudo niece, and Summer is his niece, that leaves Ana, Tessa, and Lola and I can’t see him being paired with any of them.

I voted thumbs up because I liked what I saw. I didn’t think he over acted and I enjoyed the new Adam’s scenes. Having said that, I do wish he were about 8-10 years older. I do not like the new Adam with Sharon. I mean no. She is way too old for him. Has anyone else noticed Sharon Case seems to have lost weight? As thin as she already was, she looks thinner to me now. I wonder if that’s in preparation for some future hot and heavy love scenes with Adam.

He’s just too young looking. He would have been a nice Noah replacement. I think the actor is good but they need to age him up a lot. I don’t find it believable the he’d be in his late 30 somethings. He looks younger than Abby and she’s baby Newman heir. In some case how a character actually looks is more important than what type of actor he or she is. It takes me out of the scene the drastic age difference with him and the other characters.

I gave thumbs up. I mena he is a little younger and it’s visible ..But I kinda get this vibe from him, I don’t know . I am not that experienced about the show history and how Adam should look and act like according to the die hard fans of the character but I compared him to Justin Hartleys portrayal and there is some similarity ,in the way he behaves , he doesnt like to be controled and just politely fallow Victor instructions, like I said something Adamy in him to me , he hot too I give him that :x.… Read more »
