I love the new set! I am perplexed at the working conditions poor Lora has to work in. I have a larger kitchen and I only cook for me LOL

It hardly looks like a place that shoukf be named Society, and definitely not a latin food reataurant, it looks kind of like a ski lodge to me. I don’t know who would want to go to a place where you have to worry about the waitress stealing your credit card info.

Calling this place a ski lodge hang out is interesting and I keep thinking about it… I was also thinking how with the word society, we immediately think ‘high society’, but society could just be a place where different types of people, shapes and sizes, the whole of the populace, congregate? If it wasn’t silver lame/red carpet opening night, how would this place be viewed? The second I saw this set the first thing my eye went to were the round table and stools over chairs suggesting an outdoor cafe. Whatever, there are a lot of places to dine in… Read more »

Yes. Perfect for the Genoa City glitterati attending Society’s debut. And yes, there ARE customers. As E Davidson wore Ashley’s Dina movie premiere dress to the Daytime Emmys, M. Ordway need to wear Abby’s after hours sparkle suit to this years real life ceremony. Is the award handed out in gold or is it in s-i-l-v-e-r? I forget.

I’m not a big fan of the drab uniforms on the staff and for an opening night that had nothing goin in, that host was on the phone at the hostess stand a lot! The windowed wall reminds me of the old Newman Ranch. I didn’t like how Abby lost her mind on opening night. First rule in business: never have a meltdown in front of your staff! Did she learn. I thing from her father or uncle?!

We need a swarthy bartender to kick start a new storyline

I voted love it!! I am excited for the scene set and place for characters to hang out with it looking new and modern. I agree with Ali that powder room scenes would be neat and bring a realistic level to the show. Can you imagine, powder room quick hot hookup scenes and powder room cat fight scenes!

I liked it! Its nice to have somewhere other than the GCAC and Crimson Lights to gather! We rarely see the Top of the Tower anymore… was it blown up a couple of Easters ago?

It’s incredibly ironic that Lola – Miss “I abhor everything pretentious” – is now the chef at a swanky restaurant called “Society.”

I voted Flop but it was not because I hated the restaurant but because for me I found the whole execution of the project uninspiring.
