I guess it dished up a good storyline on paper regardless of whether we enjoyed it or not but I feel like it doesn’t add up: to me it is completely out of character for Ashley to have resorted to such a low level even if I fully understand that she was hurt by Jack. Ashley is not the scheming type and even if Eileen Davidson played the part very well, it just didn’t feel like Ashley to me at all this week.

I do not side with Ashley at all, but love the story.

Could see it coming but was not happy. Always thought Ashley was one of the good guys but now I guess Tracey is the only Abbott with clean hands and a conscious. She knows better than anyone the hurt of finding out your parentage was a lie and talks about family and the importance, what did she think was going to happen when it all became out…….it always does
And Victor will be so pleased that the Abbott family are disintegrating in front of his eyes
Maybe Ashley spent too much time with Victor at Newman

I’m less concerned about what she did to Jack and more angry about what she did to me – forcing me to endure months of a stupid storyline of a daddy search via old photos. Good riddance.

It will be interesting to see how Ashley’s reveal affects the relationship with her daughter Abby.

No. Ashley is way too mature, serious and sophisticated for this scheme. If the actress is leaving why not have her just get a better job with a bigger company. Maybe she could have taken a page out of Dina’s book and traveled to France and started her own company or worked in a different company and eventually become head of a company bigger than Newman, Jabot, or “Dark Horse” As I said weeks ago that this is similar to “whole season a dream (Dallas)” I do agree the victim is the viewer. At least with Dallas, a popular character… Read more »

I am 100% here for Ashley! I love Jack, but he’s done some horrible things to Ashley in the past as it relates to the company and her place in the company. She’s never tried to get in the dirt with him and has always tried to rise above. The Blood Abbott Clause was the final straw. I’m glad that she hit below the belt and did something really, really bad. Get him Ashley! Characters like Jack and Victor do terrible things and the fans are always quick to forgive them. Why can’t Ashley get away with some stuff too?

This is one example where the punishment does not fit the crime. Regardless of the fact that it is conceivably impossible to place ourselves in the mind of Ashley when she received the unwanted news that her status as a illegitimate Abbott denied her the right to secede Jack as C.E.O., to comprehend how deep a wound to her soul this rejection meant, how much this resuscitated her sense alienation, betrayal and rejection, it is still important to remember that on more then one occasion Jack offered to remove the blood Abbott clause. Should that not factor into Ashley’s quest… Read more »

I am not surprised Ashley was the one who switched Jack’s paternity results. I predicted this would happen with Ashley being the one who switched Jack’s paternity results. That being said, I don’t know how I feel with Ashley being an villainess in her storyline against Jack.

I too like the Rozales family. I’m sure longtime Watchers remember when Paul and the Williams family where the working class family of Genoa city. With that being said I am not happy that they have sacrificed some of our longtime characters (Paul and Christine, Michael and Lauren) To develop these new characters. I Would have liked to seen a good Michael and Lauren storyline instead.

I will really be disappointed if Cane and Lilly break up over the incarceration. It is not realistic a couple that have been through a lot and is married a long time would not be able to weather the storm for a year or less. I know it is for storyline purpose but It would totally be a hard pill to swallow.

I can see how emotionally scarred Lily will be trying to survive the harrowing experience of life in prison. The bubbly, ebullient, effervescent personality of pre prison Lily might disappear for good replaced by a mordant, morose, acerbic Lily of the future.
