As much as I love Phyllis, she gets no sympathy from me. She meddles and expects a medal if just a little bit of good comes out of it but doesn’t want to take credit for the chaos her meddling causes.

Some… although to clarify my choice, I have little sympathy for Phyllis ker-plunking into the nasty holes she herself dug. What I do feel is more of empathy for her on just a purely human basis. She loves fiercely and hurts desperately when she feels (rightly or not) that she been has wronged. Pain is a universal emotion that I can find genuine -even in an ‘unlikeable’ character- hence the empathy. (‘Kindness in understanding’… and all that gobbleydegook that Tucker could probably spew better here than I have done…)

Yes, Phyllis is her own worst enemy fight. I still feel bad that she’s at odds with her children I mean I think those are the only people who were always unconditionally in a corner and now as adults they really see the flaws and cracks and their mom and, I don’t really giving her much of a break. So I do feel some sympathy for her.

Phyllis is her own worst enemy. She moves from one bad choice to another without regret. I often feel sorry for her. She never ever learns from mistakes because in her mind she doesn’t make them.

Ali, You gave the Chatters the choices of Some and Not much. But my more accurate answer is NONE!! Phyllis has been off the rails for awhile now and has no self reflection on the trouble she causes. Even when it is pointed out to her she Doubles Down on being right about her actions.

I voted not much sympathy for Phyllis. She does go too far and does not listen to her children when they tell her to stop overstepping and them figure things out themselves. They need someone to support them not fix their problems for them and in the way Phyllis wants to. She brings the issues in her life on herself. But don’t get me wrong, I need Phyllis to be exactly who Phyllis is. She is so entertaining to watch and I love her for it. So I may not have sympathy for her but I do still love her!… Read more »

Nice orange, but not too much. Phyllis is a CLASSIC example of bring all her problems upon herself. Seek psychiatric help. The doctor is in at Crimson. 5 cents.

HENRY HENRY Board Member 2 minutes ago I voted “Not So Much” regarding sympathy for Phyllis. I wish the poll would have had another option: NONE AT ALL! She truly is a royal pain in the butt! Her obsession with getting revenge on Diane Jenkins is going to be her ruin and I hope so! It appears that NIKI and Ashley have “cooled their jets” so why can’t Phyllis? I don’t know what it will take to make her just accept the fact that Diane has changed. Also, she is truly alienating her children and that’s sad. If Gina Tognoni… Read more »

Have you always been a board member? This enrages me as I can’t get out of guest mode (like drop in if you must but don’t stay) but i suppose with your Who Said It 5 star rating that ought to count for something. You & Ellen are taking over this place. I object. But then I also congratulate you as well.

I like your attitude, but let’s face it. We’re not CEOs

Ya know Gary, you raise a great point. I haven’t a clue how I’ve been elevated to a board member. It is all in our CEO’s [ALI’S] plan. However, I must say that I am truly honored. Thank you Ali. Gary, I truly value your comments. Maybe it’s just an oversight. My goodness…You were chatting long before I got on board—-no pun intended.

I voted not much sympathy, along with a lot of other people. Phyllis is manipulative and very impulsive. She does things without thinking how her actions will affect Daniel and Summer. And I;m so tired of her hatred for Diane. She probably will join forces with Jeremy Stark to bring Diane down
