I would love to see Kyle single and out on the town meeting new people. Kyle is a yuppie and it would be fun to see him living that lifestyle. We need to see Kyle going out for some cocktails after work with some employees from Jabot. i don’t like seeing Kyle being an old married man. His character is better suited to being more a rich kid playboy living the single life.

Two knuckleheads are better than one. Keep them together.

I voted to keep ‘em because I don’t want either one of them single lol. I really wouldn’t want them out there on the prowl.

I voted keep’em. They have a somewhat realistic relationship. Many ups and downs, family frictions and sometimes real life humdrum daily routine. They disagree often and work together to figure things out. I like that they are honest with each other for the most part. I loved their little spat while leaving for work. summer apparently left and Kyle threw his hands up and said I guess we’re driving separately (to no one in particular). They are totally ridiculous over Harrison and that’s endearing to me. It’s reminiscent of Chelsea and Adam before Connor got all messed up with various… Read more »

I agree with your assessment about the Quartermaine Family on GH. To me it makes them feel real and not robotic drones like the Newmans.

I voted to keep them together. But if uppity Kyle doesn’t get off his high horse and grow up, then Summer needs to leave him. He is so pathetic. And I don’t like what he is doing to Adam either.

I voted split them up, but for now. I think these two are a couple like Nikki and Victor that will always find their way back to each other. The Diane scenario is tricky to their marriage becauseI see both sides and can understand where both characters stand emotionally. Diane is Kyle’s mother and there is so much suppressed childhood trauma from thinking he lost his mom to now realizing she abandoned him for all those years, but once that initial anger slowly dissipates, Kyle just wants his mommy. The Victor thing, I do not think Kyle needs to get… Read more »

Actually, Kyle expressed his feelings to Jack at the beginning, when he told him he was hiring Adam. Then later Kyle confronted Adam at Tessa’s modeling gig. So, he has never wanted Adam at Jabot. But for me, I love Michael Mealor but as Kyle, he does not have the goods to pull off the tough guy look.

I surprised myself by voting to keep them together. They both annoy the heck out of me right now, but still. They are legacy characters that can grow and change and anchor the show. The writers just need to do more with them than just have them react to other people with pinched faces and whiny voices. Give them real, dynamic stories of their own. They are supposed to be the young and restless characters—instead they are all up in their parents’ business. Bring Tara back to town to assert her parental rights, bring Theo back to town with bags… Read more »

Kyle’s a weenie – GET RID OF HIM.. (OH no… what a terrible thing for a Michael Mealor fan to say…) Welp, I’m not of the mind that a good/popular actor is due good stories/employment simply because he or she has a following… roles are JOBS. Stories CHANGE. Imho, Summer is much more intersting now than as the petulant vixen she used to be, while Kyle is still the perplexed bore he’s always been. Lol, I already figure I’m of a different Chatter mind in that Idc if favored actors get favored stories (i.e. Jordie V. .. or Doug D….… Read more »
