Sharon needs to back off as she is the one who consistently lies to and manipulates Mariah solely to cover her own criminal behavior. After Mariah discovered the blackmail and confronted her mom about her murder coverup, Sharon immediately turned the tables regardless of her own crimes, insisting “Tessa lied to you” and “Tessa manipulated you” and “Btw Mariah please go back to Tessa and pretend you’re on her side to gain intel for us”…and Mariah, fragile and full of emotional whiplash, was weak enough to do Sharon’s bidding. Then trusting her mom enough to talk about her complicated feelings… Read more »

I voted back off simply because Mariah is an adult and Sharon has no right to control her life. Mariah has to realize what she needs to do on her own. Sharon has gone back to Nick A MILLION TIMES, when he has hurt her over and over, so I feel its a bit hypocritical.
I just want Sharon and Mariah to keep being BFF’s and let this go.

This was hard for me to choose, but I voted Sharon needs to back off. I think she’s right about Tessa, but Mariah is going to have to figure it out for herself.

I voted Back off. I don’t want Mariah and Tessa together and the trust is broken in their relationship. However; ultimately Mariah is an adult and it needs to be her decision alone to end it with Tessa. Sharon can talk to Mariah in a calm way to describe how she views Tessa and Mariah’s relationship but to interfere is not a smart choice. Sharon can’t make Mariah’s life decisions for her and needs to let Mariah make her own even if she doesn’t agree with them. Mariah will hear Sharon’s concerns so much more if she addressed them in… Read more »

Tessa’s a creep, and all people should try to stop this toxic relationship. So sure, I’ll take Sharon’s help in this goal. I need Kyle and Faith to also try to stop it.

Mariah does need to wake up considering the fact that she was so much wiser before she got involved with Tessa. Nikki and Victoria taunting Tessa reminded me of Jill and Kay with Nina Webster regarding Jill’s son Phillip and the baby in the late 1980s. Sharon was even a bystander more like Esther. However, the character of Tessa is no where as multi dimensional as Nina in my opinion. I almost think it is time to give Tessa the keys to the car if she promises to leave G.C. and never look back. Two writing regimes have worked overtime… Read more »

Sharon is in a lose/lose situation. If she response to her maternal instincts and tries to defend her daughter she will only alienate Mariah and draw her closer to Tessa. If she throws her hands up in the air and let the situation run its course she risks Mariah getting her heart broken yet again and possibly even worst, watch her being taken advantaged of or border on the edge of physical danger. I suggest she let Mariah learn a life lesson and be there if and when she needs help. In this way Sharon can still retain the loving… Read more »

Do interventions ever work? The only one I heard of backfired and the interventionee didn’t speak to the interventioners for a decade. Does a mother say Come home anytime you need or You will put your life second over my dead body.
Dang! I voted no but that was in theory. In real life I’d kidnap Mariah and send her to therapy. Please subtract my No vote and put me in the Yes column. Sorry for that!
