I’m torn on this one. I didn’t know who Matt Clark was and I don’t like it when they have to spend time trying explain the character from the past because it dominates the narrative and slows down the story. I do think he is a good actor and he has a persona that immediately reads villain and that is keeping my interest. I gave him a thumbs up because we need a clear cut bad guy and he’s definitely the devil in disguise.
Ok, my vote waffles. So I say yes – DUE only to the actor… omg, I am a new fan!!! This guy is ‘slam-dunking” the role way beyond a one-dimensional ‘Bad Matt.’ I hope he is an innocent twin? or has a brain tumor? or some such lunacy to absolve his abhorrent behavior and become an NTPA to remain on YnR. But, NO to plain ol’ Matt Clark… there can’t be redemption…
I voted no. I am not a big fan of bringing back characters , specifically the dead ones. I loved that Y and R wasn’t really keen on those storylines but now it’s happening a lot. I think it’s great Noah has a storyline and I love the break up with Allie and then Sienna love affair/ backstabbing story but why does it have to be tied to a character from the past. Write new stories with new characters and please finish the background story of characters who have been on for a good few years- yeah Holden and Audra.… Read more »

Yes I’m enjoying the Matt Clark story. It seems fresh at the moment. I’m a little concerned with another apparent kidnapping, but we will see.
I voted no to Matt Clark returning. He was an awful character, and I was glad when he died twice, now here we go again. Roger Howarth does a good job playing him though
Trick question. The return of Matt Clark is interesting in Sharon’s year of torment. But that means he has to die again. The return of Roger Howarth is genius, but he is so good, I would like for him to have stayed. Maybe a lawyer to rival Michael. Maybe a mean husband of Noah’s new girlfriend. Maybe anybody we could keep for a while.
I agree with that. Roger Howarth should have a long-term contract he is that good as an actor.
I voted no. However, I agree Roger Howarth should stick around, just not Matt Clark. Maybe a twin brother who comes to Genova City to find out about the brother he never knew.
